The black-robed man reacted quickly this time. He stepped back, and his body rapidly turned into a shadow, preparing to transform into one again.

But Luna was right behind him. She gave the black-robed man no chance at all. The moment he turned into a shadow, she opened her mouth and screamed at him again.

Though Gu Xi did not know what had happened, he knew he could not let the black-robed man continue like this.

"Cut off his hand."

Several Skeleton Soldiers rushed forward. Just as they were about to chop off the black-robed man's arm, the ground nearby began to shake.

The Skeleton Soldiers wanted to retreat and protect Gu Xi, but Gu Xi decisively said,

"Cut!"

Without further thought, the Skeleton Soldiers chopped off the black-robed man's arm on the spot.

Gu Xi stepped forward and kicked the severed arm aside, denying the black-robed man any chance to use that ring to restore his life.

Only then did the other Skeleton Soldiers step forward and finish off the black-robed man in a few swift blows.
