The Death Avatar burst out of the ground, but before it could even glance around, a bolt of Black Lightning struck down.

Death Avatar-Bone Dragon loosened its legs and set down Death Avatar-Death God.

Then it charged straight toward the source of the Black Lightning.

Standing there was a Titan about eleven meters tall.

This Titan differed from the Bone Titan beside Gu Xi. Its flesh was intact, its dark skin gleamed with a metallic luster, and its upright short golden hair made it look exceptionally imposing.

Black currents of electricity flickered over both of its arms.

When it raised its head, red light could be seen flashing in its eyes.

This Titan seemed as though it had not moved for a very long time. After firing that bolt of Black Lightning, it did not immediately launch another attack, instead pausing noticeably.

Death Avatar-Bone Dragon seized that opportunity and opened its jaws toward the black Titan.

Death Dragon Breath spewed forth.

If an ordinary person faced such a sickly green Death Dragon Breath, they would certainly try to dodge.

At the very least, they could not allow themselves to be hit by it.

But the Titan before them was different. It seemed to notice Death Avatar-Bone Dragon. With a forceful push of its feet, it pounced onto the Bone Dragon and slammed a lightning-wreathed fist heavily into its body.

If Death Avatar-Bone Dragon's body had not been strengthened, and its bones hardened further, perhaps even a single bone would have been shattered by now.

Meanwhile, Death Avatar-Death God, having landed on the ground, grabbed the collapsing earth with both hands and protected Gu Xi and the others as they climbed out from underground.
