There were rather strict requirements for selecting a place to plant the Five Elements trait.

First, the ground had to be steel. If that was truly impossible, then a Metal Mine had to be leveled out, using the metal Earth Vein as the foundation before planting the fruit tree on top of it.

It did not matter whether the Metal Mine was an iron mine, a gold mine, a Copper Mine, or anything else. As long as there was a mine, it would do.

After leveling the mineral vein, a Hundred Bones Mountain needed to be built to the west of the site.

At least a hundred corpses were needed for the arrangement. Of course, it would be even better if there were naturally occurring mass graves or bone burial mounds.

This was also one aspect of the Five Elements traits, supposedly part of Water. Gu Xi had no idea how that was supposed to make sense. Meanwhile, a river had to be arranged on the east side. That should have been the Water portion, yet it specifically required a river carrying large amounts of silt.

At the same time, the trees planted above the mineral vein had to form a Fire Attribute forest, while tunnels dug beneath the vein had to possess the Wood Attribute.

The design left Gu Xi completely dumbfounded. It felt utterly against common sense.

He had not studied the Five Elements much, but he had learned about them before.

Whether it was Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth, or Earth, Water, Wind, and Fire, Gu Xi could at least tell what attribute something belonged to.

Yet the situation before his eyes was utterly absurd: an Earth-attribute river, Water-attribute bones, a Fire Attribute forest, and Wood Attribute
