Background / History

Anna was a Grand Princess of Britain who first encountered Gu Xi shortly after his escape from Westminster Abbey. Startled by his rapid rise to the upper limit of Level 4 in less than a day from her perspective, she rebuked his reckless advancement and lent him the Blue-quality Griffon Undead Book so he could manage his experience and establish a proper Necromancy foundation 248.

She later died in battle during the Westminster Abbey Incident. Her personal guards refused to abandon their dead princess; before making their final charge, they asked Gu Xi to return her corpse to Victoria City and swore that they would await her call in the underworld 258. Griffons subsequently gathered to escort her remains, recognizing her as a member of the British Royal Family 261.

The aftermath produced multiple versions of Anna's fate. The Britain Royal Family accepted the returned body and resurrected Anna as a Level 20 Undead Wizard tied to Victoria City, while another corpse remained available to Gu Xi. The original corpse had suffered repeated deaths, Weird corruption, and the replacement of parts of its body with plant matter, making ordinary resurrection impossible 323 348.

Gu Xi preserved and purified the corpse in Evilwood Lake. A substitute ritual using the Pea Princess transferred princess regalia and ceremonial guards to Anna's body, partially clearing its corruption and giving it a chance for soul summoning 350. After further preparation, Gu Xi rebuilt her with Golden Rib Bones, a Dead Hellfire Core, and other high-grade materials before transforming her into a Lich 409.
