The York Dynasty was founded by the House of York. Its most famous deed was launching the War of the Roses against the Lancaster Dynasty, another cadet branch of the Plantagenet Dynasty.

The two children in Aryadovi Tower's Bloody Tower were Edward V of the York Dynasty and his younger brother, Richard Duke of York.

They had died at the hands of their uncle, though they had been reported missing at the time and became known as the princes who vanished in Aryadovi Tower.

Gu Xi had chosen the York Dynasty not only because this path had already been opened, but also because the York Dynasty had close ties with both the Lancaster Dynasty and the Plantagenet Dynasty.

Taking Aryadovi City of the York Dynasty era would definitely open those two paths. Gu Xi could then continue advancing along them instead of using up the reward he had received from the Headless Queen.
