Kaja and Diegu coordinated their troops exceptionally well, but no matter how well their forces worked together, it could not compare to the coordination between Kaja and Diegu themselves.

They had merely taken different paths along the way, but in essence, they were still the same person.

Moreover, their paths were clearly of the same origin and complemented each other.

The cooperation between them was not simply a case of one plus one.

When the Ghoul Shadows attacked, Kaja and Diegu immediately covered their subordinates in bone armor. As layer after layer of bone armor formed over them, their Undead Army fought as if they did not fear death, ignoring defense entirely as they charged straight at the nearby Ghoul Shadows.

The Ghoul Shadows before them were clearly somewhat stronger than when Gu Xi had first entered this place.

However, they were not much stronger. The basic Ghoul Shadows here were roughly between Levels 3 and 5, though their numbers seemed greater.

Most of these Ghoul Shadows looked human, while a small number resembled long snakes or other stitched-together Abominations.

The moment they burst out from underground, they showed no restraint.

After all, they could tell that the forces led by the two Heroes Gu Xi had sent out were all at least Level 5.

Since their levels were lower than the undead's, even if they wanted to rely on their numerical advantage, they had to unleash all their strength immediately.

They
