Arc 26The Nameless Island and Trier
Angel and Klein survive Adam’s test on Nameless Island, recover the Tyrant Card, and bring their findings to the Tarot Club. As Angel prepares to leave Backlund for Trier, Klein plans an infiltration of Saint Samuel Cathedral, while Xio, Fors, and Helene pursue their own journeys and work.
- Angel helps Klein recover from the negative personality in his mind, then accepts the Church of Evernight’s assignment to investigate Mirror People in exchange for a possible Unaging Beyonder Characteristic.
- Angel arranges a weapons deal with retired officers, gives Helene a shipment to deliver to the Gargas Archipelago, and reunites with Klein and Alger to explore Nameless Island.
- The trio defeats a Feathered Serpent and a Six-Winged Gargoyle, finds the Tyrant Card, and escapes as Angel identifies the watching presence as Adam, who had imagined the island into existence.
- Angel contributes the Tyrant Card to the Fool and attends Klein’s ball, where she speaks with Trissy about Viscount Stratford and prepares to travel to Trier.
- Will Auceptin warns Angel to avoid Trier’s deep contamination, and Archbishop Anthony gives her a special mirror and an informant’s details before she learns that the mirror can open a way to Fourth Epoch Trier.
- At the Tarot Club, Angel presents the island’s painting and the members identify the figures as the last three Kings of Angel, while the Fool warns them about the Twilight Hermits Society.
- Angel departs Backlund for Trier, while Fors heads to Intis and Xio returns to the East Borough with Xue Man to reorganize the Black Claw Gang.
- Fors discovers Irene Watson outside her train compartment, and Angel later visits Fors and learns that William Jones wrote the Angelica and Gehrman adventure series, and Helene sends her ship toward Toscart Island.
