Klein completed his bargain with Dorian Abraham for the Staff of the Stars and prepared to enter the Forsaken Land of the Gods in search of a way to advance. On Sona Island, Angel helped him die in her embrace so he could begin the journey.

• Dorian Abraham thanked Gehrman Sparrow for resolving the Abraham Family curse and offered a Grade 0 Sealed Artifact in exchange for the Box of the Great Old Ones.

• Yalixiya told Angel that the School of Truth sought the Magic Wishing Lamp and Roselle’s mausoleums, recruited Tamara family members in Intis, and wielded an unfamiliar power that operated in gray areas.
• Angel suspected the School of Truth’s unknown power might be a boon granted by an Outer Deity, but an explosion outside the hotel interrupted her conversation with Yalixiya.
• Klein used his marionettes to attack an Iron-Blooded Knight in the forest, then let the demigod escape so the attack would serve as testimony that a Trick Sorcerer or Scholar of Yore had struck.

• Pallez told Leonard that stopping an Amon avatar from transmitting information required Sequence 1 power, though an Advanced Charm might work against avatars below Sequence 2 if every nearby avatar was destroyed.
• Pallez finished absorbing the Jacob Family characteristic and urged Leonard to focus on advancing to demigod.
