Anne, meanwhile, had no need to command the Queen Anne's Revenge sailing alongside them. That ship was her own body.
The power of "balance" that kept the surrounding storm at bay grew more concentrated and contracted, allowing the surging, falling waves and frequent lightning strikes closer to the two ships so that no one would notice a large anomalous area.
Thus, they quietly followed The Black Emperor deeper into the Fog Sea.
