Back when they had fought over Salinger's Blood Banner in Molora, Medici's assistance to Gusin had led Angel to suspect that this Fourth Epoch King of Angels had already recovered some of his strength. Only now, upon meeting him in person, did she confirm that he had used a method similar to Glaide Sauron's, accommodated another Weather Warlock characteristic, and obtained a real body through some form of sacrifice.
As expected, Medici snorted and said in a mocking tone:
