Was that... my Mirror Person?
Angel's left and right eyes showed different scenes.
Her left eye represented illusion, reflecting a deep and wide hall. Five stone chairs, either split apart entirely or with broken backs, surrounded a massive black iron throne. A huge figure in red sacrificial robes and a black crown sat upon it, his long hair draped messily in a shroud of bloody light, concealing his face.
From the brutal, cold aura alone, Angel could tell that the figure on the throne was the Blood Emperor, Tudor. But like the residual soul eroded by death in the Samaritan Women's Spring, he was merely a phantom.
Her right eye reflected the real scene: a corridor similar to the cabins above, but far stranger. The floor beneath her was translucent, revealing endless, abyssal darkness. There was no ceiling above, only shimmering, illusory stars all around.
Between the foot of the stairs where she stood and the full-length silver mirror ahead, Starlight Gates stood along either side, much like the "cabins" above. Yet the spaces between them were not cabin walls, but the same void that lay beneath her.
Angel was already familiar with seeing two different scenes through her eyes. She frequently used nearby mirrors for divination and observation, splitting her vision between different locations at any moment, so she soon adjusted to "being" in both the black hall and the Starlight Corridor simultaneously.
But just as she focused her gaze and prepared to continue exploring the space sealed within the Blue Avenger, the dark silhouette of the Blood Emperor on the throne opened his eyes.
The instant those eyes, as black as the hall, throne, and diadem, turned toward Angel, her thoughts briefly went blank. As if some force had seized control of her body, she began walking forward
