Yet a kingdom composed of open books, a sea shrouded in raging storms, and a curtain of darkness that admitted not a trace of light repeatedly blocked them, preventing them from truly seeing the abstract circular symbol representing that blue planet.
Occasionally, those enormous faces saw their own images in the mirror, along with points of starlight belonging to the cosmos. Within the mirror, however, a quiet street and several two-story terraced houses seemed to be reflected.
