As her avatar's consciousness dissipated, Angel returned to the divine kingdom of the Goddess of Calamity.
The mirror that had been moving back and forth through the Astral World along a rigid, fixed route, reflecting the scattered lights and terrifying faces in the cosmos, immediately regained its vitality. It swiftly approached the edge of the barrier separating Earth from the cosmos, replacing the Sun that radiated light and heat and plugging the gap in the barrier.
The hand-drawn sun symbolizing abstract concepts such as justice and light went out in an instant, as though it had never existed.
Concepts representing scrutiny and questions appeared one after another, pointing toward Angel's divine kingdom. The gods were probing her.
Reflecting both the gazes of the Great Old Ones outside the barrier and those of the gods back at them, the mirror bearing the symbolism of the Mirror World, femininity, and chaos sealed the barrier tightly, making it difficult to penetrate once more.
A moment later, the indescribably terrifying faces pressed against the outside of the barrier withdrew, and peace returned to the Astral World.
"The Outer Deities must have known I'd left, or they wouldn't have kept testing the barrier's strength. Fortunately, Grisha, the True Creator, knew this was a critical moment and immediately helped me plug the gap, preventing Great Old Ones like the Mother Goddess of Depravity from discovering the real reason I'd left... Now, at most, they can confirm that the gods inside the barrier have reached a consensus and that they can no longer easily incite infighting to weaken the barrier...
"And Evernight and Steam should be able to guess that I went to the Western Continent, but they can't be certain whether I accommodated a sefirah, because I haven't truly become a Great Old One yet."
