Angel asked mainly because she wanted to know how the Goddess Church had reacted after Klein's failed attempt to "steal the Antigonus Family Notebook"—or, more precisely, whether its investigation had led to Dwayne Dantès.

They agreed that placing the notebook under tighter guard deep within Chanis Gate had been a "trial" for Klein, arranged by the church's higher-ups, perhaps even by Arianna herself. But few people could know that. The Nighthawks would surely follow procedure: inventory the contents, check for vulnerabilities, then investigate the suspects one by one until they found everyone involved.

After all, even if Klein's clues had led them to Gehrman Sparrow, the Mad Adventurer could not have simply teleported into Saint Samuel Cathedral and begun his infiltration.

He must have had one or more accomplices who had scouted the site and studied the cathedral's and Chanis Gate's defenses, creating an opening for him.

Angel also had a reason to ask now. Archbishop Anthony had just destroyed a letter on her behalf, and she remembered nearly being attacked by a core Sealed Artifact last time.
