Ouroboros's Goal?

Angel left Klein's side like footage playing in reverse. She returned to her state of Artificial Sleepwalking, vanishing along with the Card of Blasphemy and her Mystical Items. Amid his fear for her, Klein immediately pieced together what had happened from the clues: Ouroboros and time reversal.

Without wasting a moment, he took four steps counterclockwise, recited his own Honorific Name, and arrived above the Grey Mist. Through the star belonging to the Empress, he observed Angel's surroundings.

Out of respect for others, Mr. Fool rarely used this privilege to watch other Tarot Club members. But this was an emergency, and he could not afford to hold back.

Once he confirmed that Angel had merely returned to the outskirts of Calderon City and was facing the Angel of fate, but had not yet been harmed, Klein calmed down and began thinking of a way to rescue her.

His first thought, naturally, was to use Mr. Fool's power to draw Angel's Spirit Body above the Grey Mist, just as he did for the Tarot Club gathering every Monday at three in the afternoon.

Ouroboros had just demonstrated that this mysterious power of the Grey Mist was unaffected by his time reversal. Otherwise, Klein's Spirit Body, which held the Tyrant card, would have returned to Calderon along with Angel.

The only problem was that, once the summoning ended, the "invited" Spirit Body would return to its original location...

Normally, that was no problem. Every Tarot Club member's Spirit Body returned to its body. But Angel's body and Spirit Body were separated right now. That meant she would return to Calderon, right in front of Ouroboros—provided the King of Angel was patient enough to wait there.

No one could guarantee whether Ouroboros would remain in that city for days, or even weeks.
