Angel instinctively moved to slip into the Mirror World and leave a mirror substitute in her place, but she immediately realized that the invisible threads were only attacking the "snake hair" extending from her head, not her actual body. After a moment's hesitation, she stayed where she was.
Then the spider silk, made incomparably sharp by the fusion of Demoness and Hunter abilities, sliced through the end of a lock of snake hair. There was no blood or flame. A black strand as thick as a finger, with a snake's head at its tip, detached from Angel's head and curled into a ball before it could reach the ground. The Mirror Person carefully caught it.
An illusory crack rang out, like a hard object snapping, and intense pain shot into Angel's brain. It resembled the throbbing ache of depleted spirituality, mixed with a knife-like sting that made her let out a soft groan.

She touched the spot where the snake hair had been severed and discovered, to her surprise, that another venomous snake had already taken its place, once again waving and swaying in the air.
"They're essentially formed from your spirituality and Beyonder characteristics. As long as you still have stamina and spirituality, they'll regenerate rapidly. The Beyonder characteristics in the severed snake hair will be swiftly reclaimed by your body, leaving only 'material' endowed with your level... That's the base material you can use instead of a Worm of Time to make advanced charms."
The Mirror Person offered her the strand of snake hair, which gradually shrank until it lay curled in her palm, roughly the size of a Worm of Time, and explained softly.
