Background / History

Taking Luo Chen as Her Disciple

Bibi Dong encounters the infant Luo Chen in the Star Dou Great Forest while traveling with Yue Guan and Gui Mei. After Yue Guan kills the Ten-Thousand-Year Phoenix-tail Crested Serpent threatening him, she abandons the hunting trip and takes the child back to Spirit Hall. Her unusually sincere smile surprises her companions 1 2.

She becomes Luo Chen’s master and raises him within Spirit Hall. Six years later, she openly opposes Qian Xunji when he attempts to use Luo Chen’s apparent awakening failure as grounds to expel him. She also challenges Qian Daoliu’s attempt to take Luo Chen away for a private discussion, fearing for her disciple’s safety 3 4 6.

Rejecting the Rakshasa God

The Rakshasa God offers Bibi Dong an inheritance that could give her the power to kill Qian Xunji. Luo Chen warns that accepting it would cost her sanity and turn her into a killing machine. She ultimately refuses, maintaining that decision even when the god personally attempts to persuade her 12.

Her refusal changes her destined path. Luo Chen receives a Martial Soul Fusion Card as a system reward and later gives it to her, providing an alternative route to greater strength 12 30.

Martial Soul Fusion and Seclusion

Bibi Dong uses the card in a secret chamber, enduring the painful destruction of both original martial souls. Their origins reform into the Divine Martial Soul Underworld Heavenly Maiden, which attracts the Underworld God’s First Examination 31 32.

To avoid Qian Xunji’s surveillance, she quietly leaves Spirit Hall and seeks Dugu Bo’s protection in Sunset Forest. He offers the Ice and Fire Duality Eye as a secluded cultivation site. Qian Xunji’s Death and Ascension

After learning about the hunt, Bibi Dong heads to the battlefield with Dugu Bo. She blocks Tang Hao’s attack without releasing her martial soul, then refuses to surrender the unconscious Qian Xunji to a Ghost Gate Peak Douluo: she intends to kill him herself 44 45 46.

The Ghost Gate expert, later identified as Gui Sha, attempts to capture her for the secret behind her soul rings.
