"Now then, Deliora, what other tricks do you have?! Go on, show me!"
After familiarizing himself with his Demon-Slaying Power, Ywen looked at Deliora and spoke coldly.
"..."
Deliora struggled briefly and discovered that it could not break through Ywen's Sky Cage. It also had no magical power left to gather, so it simply sprawled motionlessly in the sky, staring coldly at Ywen.
"So that's it—you've already used up all your strength?!"
Ywen was taken aback as he watched the motionless Deliora, only then realizing that the demon before him had exhausted its power.
"If I'd known you were only this much of a threat, I shouldn't have wasted time. I should've opened my Observation Haki to its fullest from the start, locked onto you before it ran out, then flown straight over and destroyed you!"
Ywen shook his head as he looked at Deliora, which had lost all its strength and could no longer resist.
He had originally remembered that Deliora could overwhelm Ul, who possessed Saint-level strength, so it should have been very powerful. That was why he had kept adjusting his condition, simulating countless battle scenarios in his mind after encountering Deliora, and even developing more than thirty tactics to deal with it. Yet seeing it in person was different from hearing about it a hundred times. Deliora felt powerful, but not that powerful—at least, far weaker than Gildarts...
"No, it's not that Deliora is too weak. I just imagined Deliora to be too strong."
As Ywen considered this, his tightly furrowed brow relaxed. It was not that Deliora was too weak. In fact, a Deliora capable of defeating Ul was undoubtedly powerful. Even among all the demons created by Zeref, its destructive power should have ranked near the top. But even so, Deliora was still weaker than Ywen, whose attributes had all reached level eight.
"Goodbye, Deliora!"
As Ywen spoke, he raised his hand and activated his Gravity Fruit ability. The Gravity Fruit, now fused with Devil Power, released pitch-black gravitational rays!
The next second, it seemed as though fire was falling from the sky!
Like a sun slowly rising, it tore through the endless, long night!
"Th-that is..."
"What is that?!"
On the ground, countless refugees who had been praying with their heads raised widened their eyes at the enormous boulder wrapped in flames, illuminating the earth as it continuously descended.
"Is it a miracle?!"
Some refugees fell to their knees, their mouths hanging open in shock.
"A star fell from the sky!"
A child gazed at the sky with an innocent smile.
"What is that?!"
"Is that magic too? Magic that summons stars?!"
Gray and Lyon stared at the sky with wide eyes. They had never seen magic like this before. It had already surpassed their understanding of magic.
"It's probably a type of Celestial Magic—and the ultimate form of Celestial Magic at that. The Super Magic known as True Celestial Magic, Super Magic: Star Shatter! It is a super spell that summons a meteor to utterly destroy the enemy..."
"It is magic that only those standing at the pinnacle of the entire Ishgar Continent, powerhouses known as the Ten Wizard Saints, can wield!"
Ul's pupils trembled as she watched the enormous meteor falling from the sky and growing larger and larger in her eyes. Sweat continuously slid down her cheeks. Even she might not have the ability to protect herself against magic of this level.
"Summoning a meteor to utterly destroy the enemy!"
"That wizard is also..."
"Way too reckless!!"
Gray and Lyon seemed to have forgotten where they were. They looked up at the approaching meteor and loudly complained.
"This is bad!"
Sweat covered Ul's face as she shielded Gray and Lyon behind her, then formed the stance for Ice-Make Magic with both hands.
At once, a massive wall of ice appeared before Ul...
"I hope it can withstand the impact for a while!"
Ul watched the meteor plummeting from the sky with deep concern.
BOOM!!
Just as Ul worried, the meteor fell from the sky! It crashed directly above Deliora!
"..."
At that moment, Deliora was like the residents who had fled the city below—its eyes widened, utterly motionless.
Before Deliora could react!
With a deafening roar, the falling meteor smashed Deliora from the sky into the mountains beyond the town. The instant the meteor collided with the mountain peak, a terrifying explosion rang out, and Deliora was crushed into powder along with the mountain!
A horrifying shockwave swept outward in every direction...
The violent blast swept through half the town, tossing countless ruins into the air...
At the same time, the raging wind extinguished the dangerous flames that had continued burning through the town!
With a tense expression, Ul pressed herself behind the wall, holding Gray and Lyon in her arms as she shouted at them, "Hold onto my arms tightly! Don't let the aftershock blow you away!"
"Okay!"
Gray and Lyon nodded lightly, clutching each other's hands as they leaned into Ul's embrace.
More than ten minutes later, once the aftershock had completely dissipated...
Gray and Lyon finally poked their heads out. By then, the ice wall behind Ul had nearly been shattered by the aftershock.
"The town is gone..."
Gray and Lyon stared wide-eyed in the direction where the town had once stood beyond the wall.
The aftershock from Ywen's meteor had directly flattened half the town! In truth, Deliora had already reduced that part of the town to ruins, making it uninhabitable. Ywen had merely made the town a little flatter...
Well, more convenient for the townspeople's reconstruction efforts...
"Mission complete..."
In the sky, when Ywen checked his character panel and received a Ten-Year Mission Medal, he knew that Deliora had been completely eliminated.
After obtaining the Ten-Year Mission Medal, Ywen hesitated for a moment before ultimately deciding to save it. After all, the Ten-Year Mission Medal could raise any ability below level ten by one level. In other words, it could raise one of Ywen's level-nine skills to level ten. Since Ywen did not currently have any level-nine abilities, he had no intention of using the medal yet.
Instead, he would wait until he completed an SS-rank mission and raised one of his skills to level nine, then use the medal to raise it to level ten. That would maximize its value!
With that thought, Ywen exited his character panel, looked down at the town below, and slowly drifted down...
As the sun gradually rose, a faint white glow appeared on the horizon...
One by one, the residents who had watched Ywen and Deliora's battle in fear all stood with their mouths agape.
Ul, Ywen, and Deliora's battle had finally ended. As the sky gradually brightened, the townspeople finally got a clear look at what their town now looked like.
Other than shock, there was only more shock in their hearts!
The streets erased by Deliora's light blasts, the burning mountains, the houses frozen solid by Ul's ice, and half the town that had been turned from ruins into flat ground by the aftershock of Ywen's meteor—no matter how they looked at it, it was all far too outrageous!
