Master Roshi and "Make-Out Paradise"

After this sparring session, Uchiha Hikari had gained a rough idea of where she stood in terms of strength.

By Dragon Ball World power-level standards, her normal combat power was probably around thirty or forty. With techniques like Fire Release and the Three Body Techniques factored in, it could be raised a little further. Yamcha and Krillin at this point were probably no match for her. Tien Shinhan was harder to judge, but he should not pose much of a problem.

As for someone at Master Roshi's level...

Without using her Mangekyo Eye Technique, she definitely could not beat him. Even with it, she would most likely still lose.

Before coming to the Dragon Ball World, Uchiha Hikari had been puzzled by one thing—why was the moon here so easy to blow up?

Only after speaking with Bulma did she gradually come to understand.

The moon of the Dragon Ball World was somewhat like the one in the Naruto world. It was not 380,000 kilometers away from Earth, nor was its radius anywhere near as large. It was probably created with magic by Kami in ancient times. That was why Master Roshi, with a power level of only 139, could destroy it with a single Kamehameha. And every time it was destroyed, the moon could be restored.

Even so, Master Roshi's strength when serious was at least equivalent to the Kage level in the Naruto world. Uchiha Madara could give him a run for his money, but the current Uchiha Hikari could not.

One discovery delighted Uchiha Hikari—

With a low shout, Little Goku was restrained in place and immediately began yelling and struggling. But Uchiha Hikari merely curled her lips into a faint smile.

That was right.

Although she had not fully figured out the principles behind it, the Body Binding Illusion and Tsukuyomi released through Mangekyo ocular power were effective on people in the Dragon Ball World as well!

And that meant she could use Tsukuyomi to place marks on these powerful people in the Dragon Ball World, then use the "Yachihoko" Eye Technique to draw out their "ki" just as she drew Chakra from ninjas... In a sense, it was another form of Spirit Bomb!

She would not even need to place many marks. As long as she marked Little Goku and the others, she could simply wait more than ten years before harvesting the fruits.

Uchiha Hikari felt it was worth trying.

That night, the three rested in two small houses Bulma had thrown out using Capsule Corp capsules.

Uchiha Hikari shared one room with Bulma, while Little Goku had the other to himself.

Thus, the scene from the original story where Little Goku, out of curiosity, secretly removed Bulma's underwear in the middle of the night did not happen.

Early the next morning, they set off again.

Then, in the afternoon, they arrived at the seaside and met Master Roshi, who wore the fourth Dragon Ball around his neck.

Although she had been prepared, Uchiha Hikari was still somewhat speechless when she actually met this utterly unmaster-like "God of Martial Arts."

"Eh, do you want this ball?"

Master Roshi ogled Bulma and Uchiha Hikari with lecherous eyes. "I picked it up from the seafloor over a hundred years ago. Pretty, isn't it? If you're willing to let me have a look at your underwear, I'll give it to you. What do you say?"

"...What kind of nonsense are you spouting, you dirty old man!"

Bulma furiously smacked Master Roshi on the head.

Uchiha Hikari merely twitched her lips, took out the "gift" she had prepared beforehand from her backpack, and handed it to Master Roshi.

—She had started preparing these things back in Konoha. They included the complete Make-Out Paradise collection, along with several colorful picture books unsuitable for children... Uchiha Hikari had already looked through their contents herself. The quality was decent, and they should suit Master Roshi's tastes.

"Can I exchange these for that ball, Master Muten?"

Hearing the name "Master Muten," Master Roshi froze slightly. The lecherous expression on his face receded, and he grew a little more serious. "Little girl, you've heard of my name?"

"Of course."

"The strongest martial artist in the world of legend, the founder of Turtle School martial arts—your face is written with stories."

Choosing her words carefully, Uchiha Hikari piled praise upon Master Roshi. "To be honest, this child's grandfather was Gohan, your first disciple from back then. "Oh, so you're Gohan's grandson? How is Gohan these days?"

"Grandpa passed away several years ago."

Little Goku answered.

"I see..."

Master Roshi sighed somewhat despondently, studied Little Goku carefully once more, and only then shifted his gaze to Uchiha Hikari. His expression became lecherous again. "Little girl, you're a martial artist too? Do you want to take me as your master? But I haven't accepted disciples for many years, unless..."

"No, I only wanted to ask you where Korin Tower is."

From the very beginning, Uchiha Hikari had never considered becoming Master Roshi's disciple.

It was not that Master Roshi's martial arts were lacking.

Uchiha Hikari politely thanked him, then refused Master Roshi again and watched him leave atop his sea turtle.

The next two Dragon Balls were much easier.

The fifth Dragon Ball was in the small village where Oolong appeared. An old woman had picked it up when she was young, and after Uchiha Hikari's group helped resolve the trouble caused by Oolong, they obtained it easily.

Then came the one on Frypan Mountain, belonging to the Ox-King.
