Tesoro had already left Fish-Man Island. He still had plenty of business to attend to and had no time to stay on Fish-Man Island for long, but that had not delayed what needed to be done.

"So?"

When Bright received Tesoro's call, he was buried in a mountain of documents. After answering and hearing what Tesoro had to say, he asked excitedly, "How is Master Tom doing now?"

"Not too bad, I suppose."

Tesoro said, "I only just learned that Fish-Man Tom was the builder of the Roger Pirates' Oro Jackson. By all rights, he should have been executed by the World Government long ago because of that."

"But he made a deal with the government. He would build a sea train near Water 7, linking several nearby islands with trains that raced across the ocean. If he fulfilled that agreement, the government would pardon his crimes."

Bright listened quietly. He already knew this.

"Fourteen years have passed since that agreement. You're lucky, Bright. The information I received says it should be finished in about a month," Tesoro said. "After that, you can go find him. You can openly bring him back to Fish-Man Island."

Openly bring Master Tom back to Fish-Man Island?

That probably wouldn't be possible.

Bright had forgotten whether the original story mentioned when the government learned that Tom possessed Pluto's blueprints, but by this point, they definitely already knew.

They would never let Tom leave their sight alive.

A month?

That was more than enough time.

"Tesoro, thanks." Bright's gratitude was completely sincere.

"Rather than thanking me, come up with a reliable plan of action already."

Tesoro hung up irritably. Apparently, his anger from that night had yet to fade.

The investigation I asked you to conduct is already a very important part of the plan.
