The Goddess of Life drifted gracefully to the God of Destruction's side and gently leaned against him. "No matter what, don't do anything foolish. Promise me, all right?"
The God of Destruction opened his arms and drew her into his embrace. The intense red light deep in his eyes softened as well.
In his uniquely low voice, he said, "I can't see the future of the God Realm clearly, but can Sea God see it any more clearly than I can?"
"He's always said that a great disaster is coming to the God Realm. He started saying it almost as soon as he ascended and gained a foothold here."
"It's been nearly thirty years. Where exactly is this disaster he spoke of? If not for him, the God Realm's territory would have completed its expansion more than twenty years ago!"
"Never mind that we haven't seen any disaster so far. Even if there really is some damn disaster, what does it have to do with expanding the God Realm?"
"If he hadn't blocked us, the God Realm today could accommodate at least ten more First Class Gods!"
"As I see it, even if there is a disaster, it's only aimed at him alone. Otherwise, why have you and I, who have existed since the God Realm's earliest days, sensed nothing at all?"
"Because of his obstruction, I've missed who knows how many opportunities to expand the God Realm over the years."
"If not for him, the God Realm would already be more than twice its current size! The longer this drags on, the greater the losses become! How can I not be angry?"
The Goddess of Life said softly, "Your integrity is plain for all the gods of the God Realm to see. At the next God Realm Committee Expansion
