"What is that, a divine temple?"
"Good heavens, has Shrek truly grasped the key to Hundred-Level Godhood?"
Whispers of discussion rose, but no one dared speak too loudly.
They dared not raise their voices, for fear of startling those in heaven. Such was the reason.
Outside Shrek City, an elderly man in a black robe wore a hesitant expression as he watched the nearly indistinct figure shrouded within the divine temple.
This was wrong. Wrong.
The old man's expression grew increasingly grave. None of this matched what he knew.
Back then, he and Mu En had spent a hefty sum to purchase a rare copy of a book called "Sea Dragon Sacrifices to the Sea God Douluo." It recorded the Sacred Pillar Guardians of Sea God Island mourning the departed High Priest, the Sea God Douluo, including their grief and funeral eulogies.
According to The Book, even when inheriting a Divine Position, a Level 99 Limit Douluo had to burn their own power to open the gate of inheritance. Where could Shrek find such a Limit Douluo?
Mu En couldn't possibly be unaware of that.
What exactly was he trying to do by making such a huge spectacle?
Before anyone could do anything, Mu En's body erupted with white light within the divine temple. The entire temple transformed into a dazzling white sphere of light, illuminating the night sky and everything around it like the sun, while also devouring Mu En's body.
Vaguely, everyone saw a phantom image emerge in the heavens. The enormous projection seemed to cover the entire sky, blotting out heaven and earth. Its overwhelming pressure made it difficult for everyone to breathe.
The Titled Douluos within Shrek City could no longer tell whether this pressure came from a true hundred-level powerhouse or a Level 99 Limit
