After surviving the destruction of Illustrious Virtue Hall, Huo Yuhao recruited Na Na and survivors from the Holy Spirit Cult’s Ming Capital branch, then began dismantling the cult’s network. He left the story leading an undead assault against two Soul Saint Evil Soul Masters in a hidden laboratory.

• Jing Hongchen concealed the theft of Experiment No. 1, blamed the Holy Spirit Cult for the losses, and sought Xu Tianran’s protection as Huo Yuhao was questioned and compensated.
• Huo Yuhao forged his sword heart sparring with Ji Juechen, then defeated Na Na in a duel and learned she wanted revenge on the Holy Spirit Cult for her parents.
• Huo Yuhao bound Na Na to him through a Soul Contract, made her Deputy Hall Master of the Soul Hall, and led her and six Liches to destroy the cult’s Ming Capital branch.

He traveled with her to the Clear Sky Sect, where he uncovered signs of a conflict involving god-level powers and strengthened his cultivation before being invited to the Sect Forbidden Ground.

• Huo Yuhao destroyed the Holy Spirit Cult’s remaining hideouts, rescued tens of thousands of souls, and wrestled with the suffering he had witnessed.
• Huo Yuhao reunited with Wang Dong, defeated Ji Juechen and Jing Ziyan alongside her, and learned that an unknown force in her mind prevented her from using most Soul Guidance Devices.
