As the allied fighters confronted the palace’s defenders, Huo Yuhao’s group broke into the Imperial Armory and began moving its Rare Metals through Gates of the Undead.

• Huo Yuhao defeated the Saint Spirit Sect’s fighters in the semifinals, then forfeited Soul Hall’s place in the final and gave Shrek the championship and Ninth Level Soul Tool.
• Xu Jiu Jiu, Vina, and Zhang Lexuan coordinated with Huo Yuhao’s tunnel network as Xu Tianran sealed off Mingdu’s approaches and prepared a surprise attack.
• Huo Yuhao joined the Three Great Underground Forces’ Soul Tool final, where he studied the Sun Moon Divine Needle and crafted a Humanoid Soul Tool while preparing a fighter with his Mental Power.

Huo Yuhao helped devastate Ming Capital, won the tournament, and maneuvered his way into the Holy Spirit Cult while Xu Tianran seized the throne. He then explored Qiankun Asking Love Valley with Wang Dong'er and Wang Qiu'er, where Ning Rongrong tested them and assigned them to protect Dai Hao.

• Huo Yuhao and Ji Juechen broke into the imperial warehouse and used the Undead Army to seize its vast stores of rare metals, weapons, and Soul Tools.
• Long Aotian’s strike team attacked the Imperial Palace as Zhang Lexuan shattered its defenses, and Soul Core explosions gravely wounded Xu Tianran before the palace cannon array forced the attackers to retreat.
• Ju Zi kept Xu Tianran alive as he lost his limbs and Soul Power, while Huo Yuhao completed his Ghost Warrior Great Armor and won the tournament by defeating Ye Guyi inside the Gate of the Undead.
• Feng Ling invited Huo Yuhao to become the Holy Spirit Cult’s Holy Son, and he demanded help hunting Snow Empress and Di Tian before leaving with Chen An through the Gate of the Undead.
• Xu Tianran learned that the emperor had died and began preparing to take the throne, while Huo Yuhao reunited with Wang Dong'er, Wang Qiu'er, and the Shrek group in the Undead Demiplane.
• Huo Yuhao, Wang Dong'er, and Wang Qiu'er entered Qiankun Asking Love Valley, where Wang Dong'er passed the First Trial of Sincerity and Huo Yuhao identified the voice as Ning Rongrong.
• Huo Yuhao stole Ning Rongrong’s Soul Whipping Whip and bargained over their rewards, then Ning Rongrong sent the trio on a Deep Adventure to protect Dai Hao and escort him back to his Military Camp.

Huo Yuhao and his allies survived attacks, expanded Shrek’s influence, and witnessed Mu En’s failed attempt to break through to Level 100. The arc ended with Huo Yuhao confronting Dai Hao at the Duke’s Mansion to settle a private grudge.

• Dai Hao and the White Tiger Guards survived a Sun Moon Empire ambush with Huo Yuhao’s help, though Huo Yuhao warned Dai Hao that he might return to kill him.
• In Qiankun Asking Love Valley, Rong Nianbing offered Huo Yuhao the Emotion God Position and sent him, Wang Dong'er, and Wang Qiu'er out with increased power.
• Huo Yuhao, Wang Dong'er, and Wang Qiu'er killed the Zhongli Three Brothers, then brought their bodies and three matching Soul Bones to Shrek Academy.

Huo Yuhao confronted Dai Hao over his childhood and destroyed the Duchess’s remains before turning to a plan to rescue the hostages in Rising Sun City. He helped the prisoners regain their strength and escape, while a trap killed two Holy Spirit Cult elders and left Zhang Peng and Ma Xiao Tao returning to the city.

• Huo Yuhao revealed to Dai Hao that he was Yun Er’s son, then rejected Dai Hao and destroyed the Duchess’s remains after learning she had died.
• Huo Yuhao reached Rising Sun City and discovered that the tournament captives were held in the Water Dungeon under heavy defenses.
