After winning the sect’s training assembly, he set out for Wutan City and rescued Xiao Yi Xian, whose Poison Body of Calamity could not harm him.

• Ning Luo awakened in the Battle Through the Heavens world, intervened in Nalan Yanran’s attempt to cancel her engagement, and accepted Xiao Yan’s three-year challenge.
• Ning Luo defeated Xiao Xun’er’s attacks and traveled with Nalan Yanran and Ge Ye to the Misty Cloud Sect, where his sign-ins granted him powerful cultivation methods and skills.
• Ning Luo impressed Yun Yun with his rapid mastery of the Azure Wood Sword Art and exposed Gu He’s attempt to make Yun Yun owe him a favor by answering his pill-formula questions.

Ning Luo saved Qingshan Town from Mr. Yao’s poisoned medicine scheme, then built his reputation as an alchemist in Wutan City while pursuing Xiao Xun'er, meeting Ya Fei, and growing stronger. After leaving Ya Fei behind, he returned to the expanded Myriad Medicine Pavilion to see Xiao Yi Xian, only to learn that she was resting.

• Ning Luo survived Xiao Yi Xian’s poisonous blood, carried her to Qingshan Town, and discovered that the sick residents had been poisoned.
• Ning Luo exposed Mr. Yao’s scheme to sell overpriced Qingfeng Powder, defeated and killed him, and took control of the Myriad Medicine Pavilion.
• Ning Luo cured the townspeople and convinced Xiao Yi Xian to stay with him, then cultivated until he reached Nine-Star Fighter before leaving for Wutan City.
• Ning Luo confronted Galeo over Xiao Xun'er, defeated Galeo and his men, and then had his Foundation Building Spirit Liquid appraised at the Mittel Auction House.
• Ya Fei auctioned Ning Luo’s spirit liquid and pills for a large sum, while Xiao Zhan bought the liquid for Xiao Yan and Yao Lao learned another alchemist had made a superior version.
• Ning Luo reached Dou Master, met Xiao Yu at a secluded pool, and later arranged with Ya Fei to auction his superior Solidifying Origin Spirit Liquid.

Ning Luo returned to Qingshan Town, reunited with Xiao Yi Xian, and destroyed the Wolf Head Mercenary Group before confronting Xiao Yan and Yao Lao. He took Yao Lao’s Bone Spirit Cold Flame and left Xiao Yan to hunt a He Yuan in exchange for Yao Lao’s release.

• Ning Luo killed Carter and returned to the Misty Cloud Sect, where he reunited with Yun Yun and Nalan Yanran and later defeated Liu Ling in an alchemy contest.
• Ning Luo and Yun Yun fought the Lightning Wolf King, and Ning Luo saved Yun Yun, healed her in a cave, then left the sect to train and seek Heavenly Flames.
• Ning Luo reunited with Xiao Yi Xian at Myriad Medicine Pavilion, killed Mu Li, and explored a hidden cave with her, where they found herbs, techniques, and the Fragmented Map of the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame.
• Mu She led the Wolf Head Mercenary Group against Myriad Medicine Pavilion, but Ning Luo killed Mu She and the other leaders, then destroyed the remaining mercenaries with lightning.
• Xiao Yan entered Myriad Medicine Pavilion to buy a Blood Spirit Lotus, and Ning Luo accepted Yao Lao’s challenge after recognizing that Yao Lao had taken control of Xiao Yan’s body.
• Ning Luo used Soul Seizing Technique to bind Yao Lao, took Xiao Yan’s ring, and spared Xiao Yan in exchange for a Second-Order He Yuan Magical Core.
• Ning Luo took Yao Lao’s Bone Spirit Cold Flame and demanded information about Heavenly Flames, while Xiao Yan went to hunt a He Yuan and was pinned down by the beasts.

Ning Luo grew stronger, reunited with Yun Yun, and entered Jia Nan Academy before traveling to the Tagor Desert in search of a Heavenly Flame. After defeating Hai Bodong, he agreed to help him break Queen Medusa’s seal and headed west, where Snake People attacked.

• Ning Luo killed the Amethyst Winged Lion King with Yun Yun, found its Companion Amethyst Crystal Source, and became romantically involved with her after its energy overwhelmed him.
• Ning Luo advanced to Three-Star Da Dou Shi, returned to Wutan City, and learned from Xiao Yi Xian’s letter that she had left to control her poison and grow stronger.
• At Jia Nan Academy’s recruitment, Ning Luo defeated Rob and Ge La, then used the Eye of Control to make them kill each other after they apologized.
• Ning Luo and his companions were admitted to Jia Nan Academy, but he soon left for the Tagor Desert to seek the Green Lotus Core Flame.
• Ning Luo found Hai Bodong’s map fragment and defeated him in a fight, learning that Hai Bodong held the map’s other half.
• Hai Bodong asked Ning Luo to refine a pill to break Queen Medusa’s seal, and Ning Luo agreed to help later in exchange for his guidance through the desert.
• Ning Luo chose the western route despite Hai Bodong’s warning, killed a buried Yellow Sand Scorpion, and fought Snake People who emerged to attack them.
