The sea drove its turbulent waves against the gray-black reefs.

Boom!

A blur whistled down toward the ocean. That tall, upright figure was like a sharp sword cleaving through thorns, splitting the sea in two and revealing the seabed formed of mud and sand beneath the surface.

Whoosh!

Clark leaped down and landed amid the dirt and gravel. He strode toward the spacecraft sunken into the seabed and gently gripped its hull.

Bang!

Clark easily lifted the heavy Kryptonian spacecraft. Hoisting it over his shoulder, he walked out of the sea step by step.

He lightly let go of the spacecraft's outer surface, blackened by friction with the atmosphere.

"Jino, mission accomplished!"

Diana looked up into the sky. The next instant, the sea, as though divided by an invisible giant hand, abruptly closed and rejoined.

It was as if nothing had happened. A figure descended from the sky, carrying the briny scent of the ocean.

Jino stared at the spacecraft, his brow rising slightly.

His gaze swept across the faint Kryptonian writing still visible on its hull. Jino sighed, and the pity in the young man's eyes deepened as he looked at Clark. "My friend, perhaps I should tell you this unfortunate news."

Like his friend, Clark possessed terrifying powers of observation and had also noticed the Kryptonian writing engraved on the spacecraft's hull.
