Background / History
Diana is Hippolyta's daughter and an Amazon princess of Themyscira. As a child, she secretly encountered island witches conducting a ritual; they abducted her into golden mist and imprinted a crescent-moon mark on her forehead. This connection later made her a target and vessel for Hecate, the Witch Mother. 184 275
When Jino arrived on Themyscira during World War I, Diana intervened when an Amazon general attempted to kill him. Curious about the human world and troubled by Jino's account of the war's casualties, she concluded that Ares was likely responsible and resolved to stop him. She regarded Jino as her only good friend and asked him to help her prepare. 184 185 187
With Jino distracting the High Tower's guards, Diana crossed a ravine, infiltrated the tower, and claimed the Lasso of Truth. She then left Themyscira for the first time with Jino, entering wartime London and learning the importance of intelligence-gathering before battle. 188 189
Diana fought General Ludendorff in a poison-gas battlefield, believing him to be Ares, and killed him with the Godkiller Sword. The real Ares then revealed himself, having stolen Zeus's thunder power; Diana continued to confront him despite being struck down by lightning. 191 192
Decades later, Diana had established a civilian life in London as Diana Prince. Jino approached her with the proposal to form the Justice League, an alliance intended to defend Earth from extraterrestrial threats. She later joined its first mission to save an alternate Earth threatened by an authoritarian Superman. 195 213
During the Hecate incident, Diana's childhood crescent mark reappeared, causing severe pain and memory loss before she vanished. Hecate eventually possessed her body alongside Zatanna and another vessel; Jino expelled the Witch Mother's will from Diana using Shazam's magic. 270 271 277 278
Diana was later corrupted by Barbatos and sent to attack Jino. Clark and Kara were assigned to subdue her rather than kill her. 301 302
After Steppenwolf's forces raided Themyscira, stole the Amazons' Mother Box, and killed an Amazon general, Diana led the Justice League's response. She explained that Darkseid needed all three Mother Boxes to open a Boom Tube and return to Earth, then confronted Steppenwolf directly in Gotham. 340 345 346
A Starfish Tentacle later took control of Diana after she accepted a disguised gift from a child she had rescued during a terrorist attack in London. Jino destroyed the parasite and restored her consciousness. 433 435

Her Amazonian upbringing makes her decisive in battle and intolerant of betrayal. She initially favors meeting threats with force, though Jino teaches her to gather intelligence and make plans before engaging an enemy. 189 261 282
Diana reveres strength but does not reserve her concern only for warriors. She showed compassion for the pregnant Superwoman and proposed imprisonment on Themyscira rather than immediate execution for captured Crime Syndicate members. 230 232
