Coach Watt's voice suddenly rose. His team had another game next week, and that game would determine who became champion.

Watt spoke up.

"Listen, Principal Guan. Maybe we can let them finish the game before they receive their punishment."

"Impossible."

Principal Guan shook his head. "Cheating is disgraceful, Watt. And because you offended Jino Luthor, LuthorCorp has already cut our funding in half."

Principal Guan's attitude was firm.

"Not expelling you already shows considerable leniency."

"There's no room for discussion. Tell them to prepare to accept their punishment."

After saying that, Principal Guan turned and left, leaving behind a livid Watt.

The instant the door closed, Watt could no longer contain his rage and roared, "Jino, Jino, Jino Luthor again!"

He clenched his fists and viciously slammed them into the sauna wall.

The next second, scorching flames ignited across the entire wall.

"What?!"

Staring at the raging flames, Watt could hardly believe his eyes. He lowered his head to look at his hands.

Then, a bold idea rose in his mind.

The flickering flames reflected in Watt's black eyes.

"Jino Luthor, it's time for you to pay in blood."

"Anyone who stands in my way must die!"

Monday, a day hated by adults and children alike.

"Did you hear? Last night's game was amazing~"

Little Black Pete looked regretful. "Too bad I was so scared that I ended up in the hospital, so I didn't get to take part in that game."

Thinking about how he had fainted from fright yesterday, Pete felt a little embarrassed. Out of everyone, he was the only one who had passed out.

"Yeah, but Coach Watt has a terrible temper."

Chloe waved the newspaper in her hand. On the cover was a picture of Watt holding a player and roaring beneath the rain.

At that moment, a group of football players happened to be gathered beneath the teaching building with Coach Watt, listening to him speak.

Sensing someone watching him, Jino slowly turned his head and met Watt's gaze. Their eyes locked, but Watt was ultimately the first to look away.

That old bastard's gaze is filled with deep hatred for me.

Jino's expression remained indifferent. His eyes narrowed slightly as he used X-ray Vision to scan Coach Watt's body, and then his expression gradually became intriguing.

Clark immediately spotted his goddess, Lana Lang, among them. She looked furious as she argued with Watt.

"Did you hear?" Chloe leaned close to Jino mysteriously. "During the midterms, Watt secretly leaked test questions to his players. The school is planning to launch an investigation into him soon."

"I think Lana's arguing with Coach Watt because of that."

Clark looked somewhat enviously at the football players being watched by the crowd. "He's a good coach. He just has a bad temper."

"Jino, am I right?"

Chloe's question interrupted Jino's thoughts.

"Hm? What did you say?"

Jino turned to look at the blonde girl.

"I-I mean, do you like Lana too?" Under Jino's gaze, Chloe shyly turned her head away, one hand twirling her short hair.

"Like her? No, I don't. She's Clark's crush."

Jino shook his head. Setting aside how melodramatic it would be to steal a friend's goddess, the number of Lana's ex-boyfriends alone was enough to make him keep his distance.

"Then what were you thinking about just now?"

"Nothing."

Jino shook his head, but his gaze swept over Coach Watt's hands.

Under X-ray Vision, Jino could clearly see green energy surging through Coach Watt's hands.

"This guy awakened a superpower too." A smile curled at Jino's lips. He felt that things were about to get very lively.

Just as the group entered the classroom, Clark finished talking with Lana and said in a light tone, "Lana quit the cheerleading squad."

"She quit the cheerleading squad?"

Chloe raised a brow, pulled out her little notebook from her pocket, and began writing. She muttered, "The campus goddess quitting the cheerleading squad—now that's big news."

Clark looked a little helpless.

"Hey, Chloe, don't be like that."

"Too many things have happened lately. Lana feels like she should find her true self."

"Find something she's good at."

Hearing Clark defend Lana, Jino sighed, patted Clark on the shoulder, and said, "Then this is an opportunity. Make the most of it."

Clark froze.

"What do you mean?"

"He means go ask Lana what she wants to do, and then..." Chloe said with a mischievous smile, nudging Clark in the waist.

Across DC movies, comics, and TV shows, Doomsday's origin generally comes in three versions.

1. In the comics, he was the failed creation of a Kryptonian scientist—the ultimate Killing Machine. He was originally sealed inside Krypton and was freed when Krypton was destroyed.

2. In the movies, he was a monster created by the hairier version of Lex, using General Zod's corpse as a foundation, Kryptonian ship technology, and his own blood.

3. In the TV series, he was created by General Zod and his lieutenant using Kryptonian organisms.
