Testing the Abilities of His Martial Soul

After briefly testing the abilities possessed by the Plant Goddess, Yun Chuan exited his Spirit Avatar state. He transformed from the elegant and noble Plant Goddess back into a six-year-old child.

"Next up are the abilities of the Heaven-Shattering, Earth-Rending, Thunderbolt, Flashing, Blazing Supreme Clear Sky Hammer." Yun Chuan curled his right hand as though gripping something, just about to summon his martial soul. But he suddenly stopped. He recalled the scene from his martial soul awakening, when that tiny golden hammer had slipped from his grasp and fallen to the ground, triggering an earthquake throughout Spirit City.

"I'd better not summon it casually after all." He relaxed his clenched hand. Even if he summoned it, he currently could not lift it anyway.

Although he had not summoned the Supreme Clear Sky Hammer, when this martial soul awakened, he discovered that his entire body had undergone a wondrous transformation!

A martial soul was itself a part of its owner. Thus, even without summoning his martial soul, Yun Chuan could still use certain abilities it possessed, though he could not unleash their full power.

The Supreme Clear Sky Hammer possessed four attributes!

Strength, lightning, light, and fire.

That much could be seen from the name he had given the hammer.

Heaven-Shattering, Earth-Rending, Thunderbolt, Flashing, Blazing Supreme Clear Sky Hammer!

Heaven-Shattering, Earth-Rending: represented strength, a pure and absolute strength!

Thunderbolt: obviously, the power of lightning!

Flashing: the attribute of light.

Blazing: the attribute of fire.

The Supreme Clear Sky Hammer itself possessed the powers of four attributes. If he developed and used them properly, he might be able to create techniques with formidable destructive power. After all, so-called soul skills could actually be created by people; it was not as though one could not obtain soul skills without absorbing soul rings. Absorbing a soul ring merely granted one a fixed skill.

Certain genius soul masters could create skills no weaker than soul skills based on the characteristics of their own martial souls. Such skills were called Self-Created Soul Skills!

In the original work, the various martial arts techniques Tang San had learned from the Tang Sect in his previous life—such as the Mystic Jade Hand and Purple Demon Eyes—could all be classified as Self-Created Soul Skills.

With a thought, he cut off the supply of Soul Power. With a puff, the crimson flames went out. In their place, a faint glow emerged, eventually forming a ball of incandescent white light in his palm. It carried no heat whatsoever, clearly lacking the scorching damage of flames.

This was his second attribute: light!

For now, this light attribute seemed to have no great use beyond illumination. It appeared to be nothing more than pure light? He wondered whether it could purify darkness or something similar. Or perhaps he could develop the Speed of Light and come up with something like a Light Speed Fist.

Then he could act cool and tell people, "Speed is power. Have you ever been kicked at the speed of light?"

Yun Chuan cut off the Soul Power supply, and the incandescent light went out. It was replaced by a deep azure hue and crackling sounds like firecrackers. Tiny blue arcs of electricity wrapped around his entire hand before gradually converging in his palm, forming a thunderball alive with constantly leaping lightning arcs!

"This lightning attribute clearly has astonishing offensive power!" Looking at the thunderball in his palm, he nodded in satisfaction. Then he cut off the Soul Power supply again, and the thunderball slowly dispersed. Next came the final attribute, as well as the most fundamental attribute of the Supreme Clear Sky Hammer!

The strength attribute!

After activating the strength attribute of the Clear Sky Hammer, Yun Chuan felt a surge of power course through his entire body. He could sense that once this strength attribute empowered him, his physical capabilities began increasing dramatically. Whether it was defense, agility and speed, or muscular strength, all of them received tremendous enhancement!

However, once he cut off the supply of Soul Power, that empowered strength vanished, and he reverted to normal.

"Is strength merely a simple enhancement to physical power?" Yun Chuan felt that something was off. He believed the strength attribute could not possibly be that simple. It was only that he had yet to uncover this power's true uses!

Star Dou Great Forest.

This was a place where soul masters specialized in hunting soul beasts. Thousand-year and ten-thousand-year soul beasts were everywhere here, and even 100,000 Year Soul Beasts were not uncommon. There were even soul beasts of greater age, though they were all hidden away, unknown to the world.

At this moment, Bibi Dong led Yun Chuan into the forest to hunt soul rings, accompanied by Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo. Three Titled Douluo had come along in total—their lineup was exceptionally luxurious!

Because of his Innate Level 50 Soul Power, Bibi Dong had decided that, starting from his first Soul Ring, all five of his soul rings would directly be ten-thousand-year rings. Therefore, they had come to hunt five ten-thousand-year soul beasts, and it was only natural to be more cautious.

The moment he entered this place, Yun Chuan immediately felt the Plant Goddess martial soul within him stir with excitement. This was a genuine primeval forest, filled with towering trees that reached into the clouds and plants carpeting the ground. It was truly a paradise for plants!

Even without entering the Plant Goddess Spirit Avatar state, he could release his Plant Domain at any time and communicate with the overwhelming abundance of surrounding plants.

Yun Chuan suddenly stopped walking and gently closed his eyes!

He could grant plants the power of movement, transforming vegetation that could only remain still into living creatures.

When that time came, trees, vines, flowers, and even the weeds on the ground could all become monsters that claimed lives, turning the entire forest into a terrifying forest of monsters!
