After the group reached the island, Yun Chuan decided to make Tang San’s assessment especially difficult, and the Sea Horse Holy Pillar prepared to deliver their trials.

• Yun Chuan gained the allegiance of the Far North beast kings, blessed them with human forms, and left the White Jade Gourd with Snow Empress to aid their cultivation.
• Yun Chuan attended Moon Pavilion’s graduation ceremony, where he recognized Tang San in disguise and unsettled him with his presence.
• Tang San discovered Yu Xiaogang and Flander together, then learned from Yu Xiaogang about Sea God Island’s divine inheritance and resolved to go there.
• Tang San reunited the Shrek Seven Devils, brought Bai Chenxiang into the team, and led them toward the sea.
• Ma Hongjun and Bai Chenxiang defeated the Sea Whale Brothers in the Soul Battle, with Bai Chenxiang using her Phoenix transformation to win after Ma Hongjun was knocked into the water.
• Tang San bought a Giant Whale Boat, and the Shrek Seven Devils sailed from Vast Sea City toward Sea God Island aboard the Sea Dragon.
• Tang San and his companions used the camouflaged Giant Whale Boat to pass the Great White Demon Sharks and reach Sea God Island, where Yun Chuan decided to make Tang San’s trial difficult.

Tang San and his companions received their assessments and spent years cultivating under Sea God’s Light before beginning the Ring Sea Lockdown. While they struggled against the Ring Sea’s guardian, Yun Chuan gained the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger’s powers and new time abilities.

• Sea Horse Douluo assessed Tang San and his companions, giving Zhu Zhuqing the Red Level Seven Trials and Tang San the mysterious Sub-God Eight Trials.
• Yun Chuan explained that Tang San’s trials could lead to inheriting the Sea God Position, then assigned the group their first task, climbing Sea God’s Light.
• Tang San led the group in delaying their first trial to cultivate under Sea God’s Light, where Bai Chenxiang gained a God-given Soul Ring and evolved her Phoenix bloodline.
• After years of training, the group completed the first trial and received rewards, then Yun Chuan assigned Tang San the Ring Sea Lockdown with a ban on using soul ring skills.
• Yun Chuan hunted and killed the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger, raised its Soul Ring to one million years, and absorbed its abilities, including powers tied to time.
• Tang San scouted the Ring Sea but was driven back by Arrow-Shaped Fish and a Great White Demon Shark, which the group identified as the Sea God Island guardian.
• Tang San and Dai Mubai entered the Ring Sea together to train against the Great White Demon Shark King, but it blasted them out and forced them against Sea God’s Light.

The Shrek Seven Devils completed their third and fourth Sea God trials, but Tang San failed to defeat a Holy Pillar Guardian and split from the women when he chose to leave Sea God Island. Meanwhile, Yun Chuan altered Bibi Dong’s past and quietly built his forces, while Ning Rongrong, Zhu Zhuqing, and Bai Chenxiang were summoned to the Sea God Hall.

• Tang San and the Shrek Seven Devils spent years training in the Ring Sea, overcame Little White’s blockade, and earned their second-trial rewards.
• The group endured Tidal Body Refining on the pillars at Raging Wave Desperation, gained strength and Spirit Evolution rewards, and completed the third trial.
• Yun Chuan created the Sumeru Grotto-heaven, traveled into the past, crippled Qian Xunji, arranged for Bibi Dong to bear Qian Renxue, and returned to his own era.
• The Shrek Seven Devils hunted an Ocean Butcher with Little White, completed their fourth trial, and received Ten Thousand Year Soul Bones.
• Tang San challenged Sea Horse Douluo but conceded when he could not win, then concluded that the Seven Holy Pillar Guardians were too strong for the group to overcome yet.
• Tang San, Dai Mubai, Ma Hongjun, and Oscar decided to leave Sea God Island, while Ning Rongrong, Zhu Zhuqing, and Bai Chenxiang stayed to pursue their trials.
• Tang San and the other three men escaped by Giant Whale Boat, and Yun Chuan chose not to stop them while he continued developing his forces.

Ning Rongrong, Zhu Zhuqing, and Bai Chenxiang completed their trials, gained immense power, and returned to their families, while Zhu Zhuqing rejected her arranged marriage and Bai Chenxiang learned her fiancé was tied to Spirit Hall. Tang San learned what he had lost by leaving Sea God Island, then confronted Qian Renxue’s forces as they kept him from Emperor Xue Ye.

• Yun Chuan changed Ning Rongrong, Zhu Zhuqing, and Bai Chenxiang’s Fifth Trial to climbing 333 steps, and the three trained for years before completing it and receiving God-given Soul Rings.
• The three women passed their later trials, evolved their Martial Souls, reached Level 99, and left Sea God Island with permission to return home.
• Little White and the Great White Demon Sharks escorted Ning Rongrong, Zhu Zhuqing, and Bai Chenxiang to the mainland, where they parted to visit their families.
• Ning Rongrong returned to the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect and reunited with Ning Fengzhi, Sword Douluo, and Bone Douluo.
• Zhu Zhuqing returned to the Star Luo Empire, rejected the marriage to Dai Mubai, defeated him, and displayed seven black and two red Soul Rings to compel the emperor to dissolve their engagement.
• Bai Chenxiang returned to the Speed Clan, reunited with Bai He, and learned that her fiancé Tang Chuan was the Blue Silver King and a Guardian Offering of the Heaven Dou Empire who came from Spirit Hall.
• Tang San read Dai Mubai’s account of the Sea God trials and regretted leaving the island, then hurried to the palace after Prince Xue Xing warned him Emperor Xue Ye was in danger.
• Qian Renxue blocked Tang San from reaching Emperor Xue Ye, and Tang San fought his way from the encirclement before charging Snake Spear Douluo with his Blue Silver Overlord Spear.
