Just as Zhu Zhuqing raised her dagger at Yin Hao, a voice came from nearby.

"Hey! What are you doing?"

Zhu Zhuqing's attention was instantly drawn over. A sweet-looking girl with a Scorpion Tail Braid was glaring at her angrily.

"My Hao Gege worked so hard to save you! He disinfected your wounds, applied medicine to you, and even gave you the tent while he slept outside all night. And the moment you woke up, you pointed a knife at your savior?"

Xiao Wu's words left Zhu Zhuqing speechless. She had never been good with words, and after Xiao Wu said that, she could not get a single word out.

Though she had not meant to hurt Yin Hao, the fact remained that she had pointed a knife at him. There was no denying it.

And judging by what the girl had said, he had even spent the night outside because of her. No matter how one looked at it, he had done her a favor, yet now...

Yin "Understanding" Hao was now online.

"Miss, I can understand how you feel, but you don't need to take it too seriously. I only cut your clothes because I had to treat your injuries. I meant no offense.

"I also believe you wouldn't be looking to get revenge over something so minor. Otherwise, why wouldn't you have even summoned your martial soul?"

Zhu Zhuqing lowered her head slightly upon hearing that, seeming to tacitly admit it.

Yin Hao walked up to her, gently took the dagger from her hand, and held it before his eyes, examining both sides.

Yin Hao looked at Zhu Zhuqing with "concern."

"What's wrong? Why is your face so red? Are you feeling unwell?"

Zhu Zhuqing shook her head. Then, steeling herself, she bit down hard on the tip of her tongue, finally clearing her mind again.

Yin Hao also knew when to stop. He could not go too far.

After calling Xiao Wu and Zhu Zhuqing over to sit down, he began roasting meat.

Perhaps because of what had just happened, Xiao Wu remained unwilling to look Zhu Zhuqing in the eye. Zhu Zhuqing was not good at expressing herself either, so for a while, it felt as though neither of them wanted anything to do with the other.

"Since you and Zhuqing are both willing, we'll go together once Zhuqing's injuries have healed a little more."

"By the way, Hao Ge, didn't you say you came out to take care of something? What about that?"

My business is already finished, silly girl, Yin Hao thought, but what came out of his mouth was—

"What business? I just made up an excuse because I wanted to come out and have fun with you for a couple of days."

Zhu Zhuqing glanced at Xiao Wu with a hint of envy. Even now, she still knew nothing about her own fiancé's situation...

The three of them did not go anywhere. They simply set up another tent in the wilderness. Xiao Wu and Zhu Zhuqing slept together, while Yin Hao slept alone.

For some reason, the two girls, whose relationship had been fairly ordinary before, became as close as sisters in a very short time.

More than twenty days later, Zhu Zhuqing's injuries had nearly healed. At Yin Hao's suggestion, the three of them headed into Suotuo City.

Yin Hao booked two rooms. Just as before, Zhu Zhuqing and Xiao Wu shared one, while Yin Hao had the other to himself.

It was everyone's first time in Suotuo City, so when Yin Hao suggested they spend a couple of days sightseeing before looking for an academy, neither of them refused.
