Hard to suppress

Lu Chengwen held the pill in his mouth, making his words come out muffled.

"I'm trying to save you, save you! You should've told me you were awake!"

Fighting through her internal injuries, Cen Xian'er stared at Lu Chengwen. "Don't touch me!"

Lu Chengwen wanted to cry, but no tears came.

"Do you want to live or die? This is a Great Heaven Returning Pill in my mouth. I'm giving you medicine! You think I'm in love with you?"

Cen Xian'er clung to her last scrap of defiance.

"I'd rather die!"

Utterly exasperated, Lu Chengwen rolled his eyes hard.

"Then hold out your hand. I'll give it to you."

Cen Xian'er tried to raise her arm, but failed. The two of them simply stared at each other.

Lu Chengwen smiled around the pill. "Can't move? Sorry about this."

With that, he pulled Cen Xian'er into his arms and kissed... fed it straight into her mouth.

Cen Xian'er couldn't move, let alone resist.

The thing was, she knew he meant well.

But she couldn't get past that mental barrier. She would rather die with dignity than live in such humiliation.

Holding Cen Xian'er, Lu Chengwen spent a long time feeding her the pill. He was meticulous, taking his responsibility very seriously and making sure none of it went to waste.

After a long while, Lu Chengwen pulled away.

Cen Xian'er stared at him, tears welling in her eyes.

Lu Chengwen sighed. "Sorry about that."

Then he secured Cen Xian'er on his back, slowly lifted her, and walked out of the cave.

As he walked, he said, "This time, we'll have to trust our luck. If we run into those Sky Net bastards, I'll give you a quick death, and they can give me one too. If we don't, we'll hide out
