"Chen Fei?"
Tong Linyun looked at the unfamiliar figure before her and asked uncertainly. His aura and appearance were completely different from Chen Fei's.
But in this anomaly realm teeming with horrors, Tong Linyun reckoned that only Chen Fei would come to rescue her.
Everyone else could barely protect themselves. Faced with an anomaly as powerful as the Anomalous Painting, they would probably flee first.
"Are you all right?"
The muscles in Chen Fei's cheeks shifted, restoring his original appearance. He smiled gently at Tong Linyun, then his face changed again, returning to its previous guise.
If the Luotian Pavilion wanted to track someone, it would most likely lock onto their aura. But out of caution, Chen Fei had changed his appearance as well, snuffing out the last possibility of being discovered.
"I'm fine."
Seeing Chen Fei's original face, Tong Linyun visibly relaxed, as though a weight had lifted from her shoulders.
At her most helpless inside the Anomalous Painting, Chen Fei had been the only person she could think of. And he had appeared when she was in the greatest danger. The feeling defied words.
"I have something to do. Heal your injuries first."
Following the fragmentary method he had obtained from Yan Gongli, Chen Fei kept refining a piece of the Anomalous Painting in his hand.
The Anomalous Painting on the cliff face twisted violently. Whispers rose and fell beside Chen Fei's ears, trying to bewitch him, but he remained unmoved.
The Anomalous Painting was indeed extraordinarily formidable. If one's spiritual power failed to suppress its beguilement for even a moment, one would instantly step into the painting.
At that point, whether one lived or died would be entirely up to the Anomalous Painting.
The rules within the Anomalous Painting were extremely meticulous. One's mind would sink into
