Background / History

Le Ling was born Princess Bai Ling, the only daughter of the Spirit Emperor of the Five Elements Continent. When her Imperial Uncle Bai Qi and rebel forces besieged her father, the Spirit Emperor used his remaining spiritual energy to open the Gate of Time and Space and send her to the Douluo Continent. Her father was killed before her eyes, leaving Le Ling determined to find the Asura God, return home, and take revenge. 1 110 273

Before the main events, Le Ling had known Qian Daoliu. She watched him marry another woman, destroyed the jade ring he had given her as a token of love, and left the Douluo Continent heartbroken. After being transported back, she nevertheless entered Spirit Hall through its maid recruitment because its network offered her the best chance to locate the Asura God. 2

Her former level-90 spirit cultivation was reduced to level 30 Soul Power by the Douluo Continent's differing cultivation system and the plane's influence. Her Ten-Tailed Celestial Fox Sacred Body likewise became the Heavenly Fox Martial Soul, forcing her to rebuild her power from the beginning. 1 13

Le Ling's Heavenly Fox Martial Soul is the transformed form of her Ten-Tailed Celestial Fox Sacred Body.
