[Furious Moon] responded to some sort of calling and drifted to Yu Xunge's side. Within it, the complete Zai Jiu's Moon shone pure and flawless.
Just as she had dragged this moon out of Zai Jiu's dock back then, she now had to put it back.
Her fingertips passed through the lampshade, which had long since turned to mist after its upgrade. Yu Xunge easily touched the moon inside the lantern, and with a gentle flick of her finger, it floated out and hovered before her.
Without the moon, the lantern lost its luster. Cherishing it, Yu Xunge extended a flower branch from her shoulder and hooked it around the lantern, keeping it from falling into the Star Sea.
It did not matter even if it no longer had those skills. She could put it in the Captain's Quarters and let it continue serving as a night-light.
When she had time to rewrite those stories in the future, this lantern could still keep her company.
As for Zai Jiu's Moon, before sending it away, Yu Xunge used [Who Will Cut The Moonlight] once again. This was yet another use of Who Will Cut The Moonlight.
As the moonlight slipped into her right eye, the moon flew toward the last gathering of prison cells in the Star Sea.
World Sigh, which had been resting quietly in Yu Xunge's left palm, turned its own pages to the end without a breeze. It was already an almost blank book, and now its final passage flew off the pages and drifted into the distance.
As the final sigh departed, the Time Marks within Yu Xunge's right pupil, which had already taken the shape of a clock, grew clearer still.
Tick-tock-tick-tock-!
The sound of clock hands turning rang out from the depths of her soul.
