Black-Haired Ape Oscar?

Yun Qi turned back to look at the posturing Flender before him. His previously cold expression changed completely, becoming warm and amiable as his Forgiveness Halo flared to its fullest. His face once again filled with a sunny, gentle smile as he gave the two men a slight smile.

"This really was just a misunderstanding on our part!"

Ling Yusong and Flender exchanged a look, a wave of emotion rising in their hearts. Now this was a sunny boy. Even after being treated like that, he could still respond to other people's expectations with a smile.

Ling Yusong also stepped forward and bared his teeth in a grin.

"I'm Ling Yusong. I hope you won't take what just happened to heart. Welcome to Shrek Academy!"

Yun Qi grumbled inwardly. Not take it to heart my ass. Just wait—I'll make you regret it later!

Although Yun Qi cursed inwardly, his outward acting was truly first-rate. No flaw could be detected. His smile remained, but he shook his head.

Flender and Ling Yusong grew anxious. If they failed to recruit these Talented Students, the academy might go bankrupt next year, and they would have no idea where to idle their days away! The two men spoke in unison:

"Why are you shaking your head? Are you unwilling to join Shrek?"

Yun Qi shook his head again and said calmly:

"We hope to join the academy through the proper procedure. We can't leave out the sense of ceremony!"

Flender and Ling Yusong finally relaxed. After all, geniuses were eccentric, and this condition wasn't excessive!

However, seeing Dai Mubai lying on the ground like a dead dog, they began considering how to conduct the assessment. Even if Dai Mubai were awake for the final test, he wouldn't be able to cause Yun Qi and the others the slightest trouble. They also had to make these Talented Students feel even more confident in the academy's strength!

Suddenly, inspiration struck Flender. Old Zhao had nothing better to do anyway. If they had Zhao Wuji go easy on them, wouldn't that solve everything?

Having thought of this, Flender said to Yun Qi:

"Fine. Do all of you have to pass the test before joining?"

Zhu Zhuqing and Xiao Wu immediately responded. They had already discussed this beforehand. Seeing Xiao Wu agree, Tang San promptly nodded as well. Ning Rongrong had originally wanted to join directly, but after considering this handsome yet absurd entrance test arranged by Yun Qi, she couldn't help becoming curious and agreed too!

Next, Ling Yusong conducted a bone-age test on everyone. None of them was over twelve, which made Flender smile in satisfaction. As for Yun Qi, even though he was over twelve, Flender would have to find an excuse to keep him! When it was Ning Rongrong's turn, Flender couldn't help asking:

"Did your family agree to let you come here?"

Ning Rongrong answered directly:

"Does the academy have to ask other people before teaching its students?"

Flender hesitated for a moment before agreeing with Ning Rongrong. After all, if they could establish a connection with the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, it would bring tremendous benefits to Shrek Academy!

When it was time to pay the Registration Fee, Yun Qi and the others seemed to deliberately forget about it. Yun Qi glanced at Zhu Zhuqing before looking at Tang San.

"It's exactly what you heard!"

Tang San spoke indignantly:

"What a piece of trash! Tsk, just wait and see how I beat him up later!"

After saying that, he turned his gaze toward Xiao Wu and glanced at her timidly a few times. However, under Yun Qi's watchful eyes, he quickly looked away. Yun Qi didn't expose him, merely signaling with his eyes for Xiao Wu and Little Cat to link arms with him. Under the gazes of Flender, Tang San, and Ning Rongrong, the two girls stepped forward of their own accord, wrapped their arms around Yun Qi's, and walked side by side with him.

Seeing this, Ning Rongrong stepped forward and asked Flender:

"Principal, is that also a teacher at your academy?"

Yun Qi and the others also looked in the direction of the voice. Someone was hawking goods beside a pushcart, with only a few people lining up nearby!

At a glance, Yun Qi recognized him as Oscar.

Standing behind the pushcart was a man dressed in simple gray clothes. He had messy short hair, a full beard, and a pair of Peach Blossom Eyes. He was lecherously eyeing Ning Rongrong and the other two girls. None of the girls could imagine that such a soft, delicate voice had come from the mouth of an Uncle!

Seeing the unkempt Oscar, Flender became furious. He waved for Oscar to come over!

Oscar hurriedly handed the sausages from the cart to the customers before rushing over. He asked Flender:

"Principal, did you need me for something?"

Flender said irritably to Oscar:

"Can't you tidy up your appearance a little? These are your Junior disciples. Get to know them!"

Ning Rongrong and Xiao Wu both exclaimed in surprise:

"This Uncle is also a student?"

Seeing everyone's strange expressions, Flender helplessly nodded.

"His name is Oscar. He's your Senior disciple."

Oscar, who had been leering from the side, instantly froze. Several seconds later, he looked at Ning Rongrong in disbelief and asked:

"Y-You actually called me an Uncle?"

Everyone nodded.

"What's wrong with calling you an Uncle when you look like this?"

Oscar gave a bitter laugh.

"I'm only fourteen. I just look old, that's all. My body hair is a little too thick!"

Xiao Wu curled her lips. She had already decided this guy looked extremely sleazy, and he was lecherously eyeing all of them, so she snapped without any politeness:

"That's not just thick body hair. You look like a Black Haired Ape."

Seeing Oscar take another devastating blow, Flender couldn't bear to watch. He said to Oscar:

"Go tidy yourself up. I'm taking your Junior disciples to Zhao Wuji for their assessment!"

After Flender finished speaking, everyone ignored Oscar, who was standing blankly where he was, and prepared to follow Flender.
