The instant Celinina took hold of King Slayer's Rebellious Blade, she sensed the unending tide of dark power pouring from the weapon—despair, fear, resentment, hatred. Countless consciousnesses of those slain by this sword had gathered together, and a terrifying Artifact Spirit sought to tame her and turn her into the blade's new host.

Fortunately, wolfkin were creatures of darkness by nature and highly resistant to Curse Power. Otherwise, she would have become its puppet outright.

Cherinina was slightly startled. Without hesitation, she sheathed it in the scabbard on her back. The weapon was powerful, but taming it would not be easy. She would most likely need Prajna's help.

But while Cherinina was unable to master this murderous weapon in the short term, the Saracen spellcasters did not know that.

They had once been Eris's companions, so they had naturally heard of this legendary weapon.

Aside from its Curse Power, which was like a deadly poison that made any strike nearly fatal, they had personally seen the blade effortlessly cut through a Magic Array. It possessed power similar to anti-magic gold, making it the nemesis of mages.

As for Celinina, it was not as though she had killed only one or two Saracen spellcasters. In the battle against Rashid, people had watched her effortlessly slice through Shemiel's shield before he advanced to the legendary realm.

That meant that, aside from Shemiel, the rest of them would likely be instantly killed if they faced her.

An assassin who came and went without a trace was already every spellcaster's worst enemy. Now that she had gained that demon sword, she was even more dangerous.
