In a guest room at Wolfsborg, Giuliano gave his instructions with a worried expression.

Lavinia nodded slightly. "Please rest assured. Lothar's condition isn't too serious. Once the residual holy radiance in his body is purged, he'll recover quickly."

Valentina cast a meaningful glance at the unconscious man on the bed. She was completely certain that this fellow's condition was nowhere near as bad as he made it look.

Lothar smiled and sat up from the bed. "We aren't Texans in the end. Offering a few suggestions is enough. Any more than that, and we'd only become unwelcome. That's why I put on this little act."
