Ch. 427A Future Without Me

Asano Kiyoshi used his newly awakened Reincarnation Platform to escape Yhwach, who forced him into a different future where the Soul Society was at war. He arrived in the original-story Soul Society and ordered the Shinigami to avoid Bankai and have the Visored Captains use Hollowfication.

  • Asano Kiyoshi used Great Stillness to hide the future from Yhwach, but Yhwach opened a third pupil and sent him into another future.

  • Asano Kiyoshi persuaded Komamura Sajin to help broadcast battlefield orders to the Seireitei.
  • Asano spread his blood-red spiritual pressure across the Seireitei and performed Tenteikūra and Kakushitsuijaku with Komamura.

Asano Kiyoshi bound Yhwach so Captain-Commander Yamamoto could strike him down, but the defeated enemy was revealed as Stern Ritter Y, an impostor who had concealed Yhwach’s absence. Yhwach returned from meeting Aizen Sosuke and tried to steal Yamamoto’s Bankai, only for its flames to keep burning as Asano Kiyoshi prepared to explain why.

  • Asano Kiyoshi used Binding Death Entanglement and four stone monuments to restrain the fake Yhwach, then called on Captain-Commander Yamamoto to finish him.
  • Captain-Commander Yamamoto unleashed Zanka no Tachi—North: World Ashes and severed the fake Yhwach’s body with flames that erased everything in their path.
