Fang Li's blunt question made Index, who was forcing a smile, tremble slightly all over.
Then, Index hurriedly denied it.
"N-No, nothing happened!"
She was obviously lying.
Fang Li narrowed his eyes slightly and said with a smile, "Has anyone ever told you that you're actually terrible at lying?"
"L-Lying? I wasn't lying!" Index immediately raised her voice. "I'm a devout nun, you know! I would never lie! That was far too rude of you!"

His gaze no longer fell on Index, instead shifting slightly behind her.
There, Index had both hands hidden behind her back.

"What are you hiding behind your back?"
At those words, Index's body trembled again.
Seemingly realizing that nothing she said would be convincing, Index stopped speaking. She merely kept shaking her head, making muffled "mmph, mmph" sounds through her tightly shut lips, looking extremely resistant.
This time, Fang Li did not waste any more words and stepped forward directly.
He clearly intended to snatch it from her by force.
And Index obviously saw through him completely, immediately turning and running without hesitation.
"Hand it over!"
"No!"
