Fang Li rubbed his temples as he sighed, as though utterly exhausted.
"Urgh..."
At some point, Shirai Kuroko had returned and was now standing in front of the dormitory gates. As if guarding against some terrifying enemy, she assumed a fighting stance and glared at Fang Li through gritted teeth, looking as though she wanted to bury him alive.
"So? Calmed down yet?" Fang Li said impatiently, as if he could not see Shirai Kuroko's display at all. "I'm not interested in playing with you anymore, you know?"
"Who's playing with you?!" Shirai Kuroko shouted furiously. "Kuroko is merely preventing a disgusting pest from approaching the loving nest shared by Onee-sama and me!"
"A loving nest..." Fang Li narrowed his eyes and replied in a thoroughly disinterested tone, "Does the Onee-sama you keep talking about know about this?"
"Of course she does." Shirai Kuroko flicked her hair and declared with an air of Divine Aura, "Onee-sama told Kuroko herself that I am the most important person to her. This is our secret inn, and no one else can know about it—especially a certain bastard delinquent."
She made it sound so real.
"Then could you please call your Onee-sama out first?" Fang Li could not be bothered arguing with Shirai Kuroko anymore. "I have something important I need to tell her."
"My deepest apologies, but Onee-sama has already gone to sleep today and cannot receive a delinquent visitor who comes knocking in the middle of the night." Shirai Kuroko replied almost instantly, smiling without warmth. "By the way, Onee-sama's schedule is fully booked afterward as well. She is Tokiwadai's ace and the third-ranked Esper in Academy City, after all. She has many social obligations, unlike some thug who spends all day causing major incidents."
She made that sound real too.
