Calling them diligent adventurers really just meant they went to the Adventurer's Guild every day to pick up quests. Everything else remained much the same as usual.
Aqua was still a useless good-for-nothing Goddess. Whenever Fang Li needed her, he forcefully kept her in line and made her obediently serve as backup, providing everyone with Healing Magic and Support Magic. Whenever he did not need her, he let her self-destruct as she pleased and coldly watched her come home crying every day.
Megumin's daily Explosion Magic remained as unwavering as ever. Perhaps because Alice was close to her in age, Megumin developed a competitive streak toward the formidable Alice. Every time, she bragged about how powerful her Explosion Magic was, yet in the end, she could only be carried home on Alice's back. Even in that state, she could keep boasting. Truly, the Crimson Demon Clan was thick-skinned to the extreme.
Darkness, on the other hand, restrained herself quite a bit after Alice joined them. She no longer freely indulged her masochistic tendencies. Instead, she nervously stayed by Alice's side whenever they went on a quest, claiming that she had to protect her properly. In the end, Alice simply defeated every attacking monster with a wave of her hand, while Darkness was completely useless and thoroughly reduced to a spectator, standing desolately in the wind several times with endless sorrow.
