The True Existence of Evil
"Awooo—!"
One by one, the silver-white wolves raised their heads and howled loudly at the moon in the night sky.
With a pack of white wolves, Sayonari first glanced at Aria, then ignored Riko kneeling on the ground and focused his gaze on Fang Li.
At this moment, the perfect smile on Sayonari's face finally changed.
It turned into a sinister, cold laugh.
Then, Sayonari said, "This is really unpleasant."
This sudden statement left Aria stunned.
Fang Li didn't say anything, he just looked at Sayonari.
"That's right, that's the look in your eyes." Sayonari said, then shook his head and said, "No, I should say it's you as a person. It's as if your very existence is a mistake, which makes me feel very uncomfortable."
"Honestly, I've never felt this much disgust towards anyone before," Sayonari said, sounding both helpless and sarcastic. "But I don't know why, I just feel extremely disgusted by you, to the point that I can't stand your existence. Why is that?"
"What... what are you talking about?" Aria couldn't help but take a step forward.
However, Fang Li stopped Aria and gestured with his eyes for Aria to remain silent for the time being.
Immediately, Fang Li turned his gaze to Sayonari and asked directly, "Who exactly are you?"
"Me?" Sayonari shrugged and, in a joking tone, pointed at Riko was kneeling on the ground, and said, "If you really have to say, then you're the owner of that bitch over there."
"You...!" Riko struggled to lift her head and glared at Sayonari.
However, Fang Li keenly noticed it.
In Riko's eyes, which were filled with anger, there was a hint of surprise and fear.
That feeling stemmed from the word "female dog".
This feeling, however, brought a joyful smile to Sayonari's face.
"To be honest, you have really disappointed me, Miss Fourth Generation." Sayonari said with a sigh, "I originally thought that even if you couldn't do anything with the Holmes family's defective product, you should at least be able to make that inexplicable kid reveal some flaws, giving me an opportunity. That's why I came to this ship with a sliver of expectation that I shouldn't have had for you. But you really are a useless piece of trash. I might as well lock you back in your cage."
"Put it back in... the cage..." Riko's body began to tremble, and she spoke in a trembling voice, "Could it be... could it be that you are..."
"Speaking of which, you've never seen me 'like this' before." Sayonari feigned a look of sudden realization, then laughed, "But it doesn't matter, since I've given up on you anyway. I'll make you remember that despairing posture you once had."
"But until then, you stay there quietly until I deal with this unpleasant kid, and then I'll send Holmes over there and you to the cage together."
From Sayonari's tone, anyone could tell that this person didn't treat Riko as a human being at all.
Just as she said, to Sayonari, Riko was nothing more than a female dog.
"Human beings are determined by their genes. No matter how hard they try, humans without superior genes will soon reach their limit." Sayonari said this to Riko as if chanting the ultimate truth of the world.
"Robin IV, you did not inherit any of the good qualities of your ancestors. Genetically speaking, you are a useless piece of trash. But no matter what, you are still a breed with excellent bloodlines. So, at least you will be kept in a cage and given the right to produce excellent breeds in the future."
Despite the appalling remarks that no one could bear to listen to, Riko seemed to have confirmed something, and she hugged herself and trembled violently.
"What... what exactly happened?" Aria really didn't know how to react.
Fang Li, however, remembered what Riko had just said.
"For freedom."
Fang Li could tell that there was absolutely no falsehood in that statement.
In other words, Riko was truly obsessed with defeating Aria and proving that she could surpass her great-grandfather in order to gain freedom.
Under these circumstances, combined with Sayonari's words and Riko's fear of Sayonari, Fang Li finally came to a bold guess.
It seems that Riko has truly lost her freedom, being kept in a cage and treated like a female dog.
And this person is Sayonari.
No.
wrong.
It should be said that it was a monster hidden behind the mask of Sayonari.
"You are... Vlad..."
Aria was the first to react to Riko's trembling voice, which was filled with fear.
Aria's eyes widened slightly, and she pointed her gun at Sayonari, exclaiming, "So, you're Vlad!"
Upon seeing this, Fang Li immediately asked, "Do you know him?"
"Of course I know him. He's one of the criminals who wronged my mother." Aria answered without hesitation, "He's the second-in-command of I-Yul. In I-Yul, besides the leader, he's the highest-ranking person, known as Vlad the Infinite Sin!"
However, at the same time that Aria finished speaking, Sayonari also spoke up.
"Unfortunately, I am not Vlad, or rather, I am not Vlad yet."
"Isn't he Vlad yet?" Aria was completely taken aback.
"Well then, let me give you all a lesson." Sayonari smiled wryly.
"In fact, there was once a creature in this world that could modify its own genes by drinking blood in order to achieve evolution. That creature is what people know as a vampire."
"However, aimless blood-sucking led to the near extinction of all vampires. Only one vampire, who preferred human blood, gained human intelligence and systematically drank the blood of various creatures, evolving into a strong and powerful individual, and ultimately survived."
"However, in order to retain its intelligence, this vampire must continue to drink human blood, which results in human genes being constantly copied into its body."
"Finally, this vampire was hidden by the human shell, and only when the spirit of this shell was highly excited, causing a large amount of neurotransmitters to be secreted in the brain, would it reveal itself."
After saying that, Sayonari's smile gradually turned into a ferocious expression.
"And I am just that human shell."
