Jace, the Man of Many Faces

Of all the Super Soldiers in Super Seminary, Jace is the easiest one to overlook, but he's also the one who left the deepest impression on the students. Or rather, it was "Ajie" with his sunglasses and attire like a SWAT officer, because Ajie was the one who tricked most of the Super Seminary students into joining.

What Wei Zitong didn't expect was that Jace had multiple personalities that he could switch between with ease. He had initially thought that Jace's different personalities in "Super Seminary" and "Xiong Bing Lian" were due to major version changes, but that wasn't the case at all.

He saw Jace again in his sister Wei Zixue's office.

It wasn't until nightfall that Wei Zixue had time to handle the stock transfer with Wei Zitong. Wei Zitong didn't know why his sister had called Jace over. Perhaps it was to serve as a witness, to show that Wei Zixue wasn't forcing Wei Zitong to transfer the shares. But seeing the way they exchanged glances, Wei Zitong guessed that this wasn't Jace's main purpose for being there.

In reality, the stock transfer had little to do with Wei Zitong. He was mainly chatting with his sister Wei Zixue and Jace. All the contract matters were being negotiated by lawyers and assistants. All they needed to do was review the contract and agreement and then sign and stamp it.

"How have things been at Super Seminary recently?" Wei Zixue initiated the conversation.

Wei Zitong's lips curved slightly. He glanced at Jace and said, "Why don't you ask Ajie? Then you'll know."

Jace awkwardly scratched his head and said, "Uh, I actually don't know. During this period, I still need to observe other potential recruits and provide them with some help when necessary. When the opportunity is ripe, I'll need to recruit them."

"You mean trick them, right?" Wei Zitong said with a smile.

"You can call it tricking if you want," Jace nodded. "But they will eventually find the right path!"

"Have there been any new students enrolling recently?" Wei Zitong took a sip of his coffee, gazing at the steam rising from the surface.

"There's a young girl with the surname Rui," Jace said. "There are very few people with the surname Rui in our country. Her family is not doing well, and she's working hard to save up for college. I'm going to give her this opportunity."

Wei Zitong knew Jace was referring to Rui Mengmeng, but he asked as if he didn't know, "How does she look?"

"Heh, you, the great Young Master Wei, would be interested in a girl from the countryside?" Jace looked at Wei Zitong with a sly grin and said, "Even before I returned to the academy, I heard about how much you bought for the three goddesses of the academy..."

"Stop, stop!" Wei Zitong saw his sister's sharp gaze and quickly interrupted, worried that Wei Zixue might think he hadn't changed his ways.

"There's no need to talk too much about that now. After I recruit this young girl with the surname Rui, I'll be returning to the academy. At that time, I will be your instructor!" Jace said.

"With your lecherous personality, how can you be an instructor?" Wei Zitong looked at Jace playfully and smiled.

"You'll find out then," Jace replied noncommittally. "For your sister's sake, I'm giving you a heads-up!"

"Get lost!" Wei Zixue glared at Jace good-naturedly.

After the stock transfer was completed, Wei Zitong gained over a billion in liquid assets, feeling like he could splurge for quite some time. Afterward, he chatted with his sister Wei Zixue about Angel Yan, but he didn't get the answers he wanted. So, he bid farewell to Wei Zixue and Jace and drove his red supercar back to Super Seminary that night.

When Liu Chuang and the others saw the red supercar, their eyes turned green with envy. Seeing that they liked it, Wei Zitong casually tossed them the keys to play with. Driving a supercar on a long trip was not for humans; even as a Super Soldier, he felt sore all over.

He had returned to the academy overnight because he found Tianhe City boring. There were no more train services at the time, so he simply drove his supercar.

He woke up to find it was already evening. As Wei Zitong went out onto the balcony to feel the breeze, he suddenly saw an unfamiliar figure on the balcony of the girls' dormitory across the way, seemingly hanging clothes.

Upon closer inspection, he saw a girl dressed very simply. Her face was quite delicate, and her long hair appeared dry due to lack of care. Standing there, she was a stark contrast to Lena, Qilin, and Du Qiangwei in terms of appearance.

Seeing how diligent she was, Wei Zitong knew this girl was most likely Rui Mengmeng, whom Jace had mentioned yesterday. He couldn't help but sigh, thinking how efficient that guy was, and how much more skilled he had become at tricking people.

"Huh, there's a new girl in that dorm!" Liu Chuang came out, exclaiming in surprise.

"Yeah, I heard from Ajie yesterday. Her name is Rui Mengmeng," Wei Zitong replied, nodding.

"Ajie? Who's that?" Liu Chuang asked.

"The guy who recruited you into the school with me!" Wei Zitong replied, suddenly realizing that Jace had said he would return as an instructor, and this part of the plot was from "Super Seminary." The most crucial thing was that Jace's appearance was incredibly violent!

Suddenly, a blue lightning flash streaked across the night sky, followed by a "boom" from the adjacent dorm B210. The three guys inside were thrown out, shouting "Yameete!" and crashing heavily onto the ground behind the dormitory building!

"Holy crap, Super Seminary is under attack! Super Seminary is under attack!" Liu Chuang shouted. "Is it aliens? Is it aliens?"

On the balcony opposite, Lena, Qilin, and Du Qiangwei also rushed out.

"It's not aliens, it's that scoundrel Ajie! He told me to be prepared, so this is what he meant?" Wei Zitong quickly pulled Liu Chuang back, worried that the scoundrel Jace might not think it was exciting enough and decide to blast their dorm too!

His phone vibrated a few times. Wei Zitong opened it and saw a text message from Lena: "What's going on?"

"It's Ajie!" Wei Zitong replied directly with a voice message.

"Ajie? Which Ajie? Wait... are you talking about Jace?" Lena also replied with a voice message, and her tone carried a hint of surprise. She then added, "Is it Jace, the one who once led 'Operation Abrala'?"

Wei Zitong knew what "Operation Abrala" was, but as a native Earthling, knowing such things was clearly unreasonable. So, he only replied, "I don't know!"

These three words were quite ambiguous, allowing for different interpretations. It could mean "I don't know about 'Operation Abrala'," or "I don't know if it's Jace who led 'Operation Abrala'," or even "I don't know either." Lena was somewhat confused and wanted to get a clearer look at the situation on the opposite balcony, only to find that everyone in B209 had disappeared.

Later, Lena sent another text message asking for clarification, but Wei Zitong didn't reply. The answer would be revealed tomorrow, and even though he wasn't sleepy at all, he had to go to bed and cover himself, as they had all received a notification that the "Super Class was entering military control."

The next morning, a sharp whistle blew, and Wei Zitong scrambled out of bed, waking up Liu Chuang and Wuji Yi, who were still trying to sleep in. The three quickly made their beds, washed up, and arrived at the assembly point on the training ground behind the dormitory before the third whistle blew.

Wei Zitong indeed saw Jace. To be precise, it was Jace in full black armor, looking imposing. At that moment, Jace's expression was serious and cold as he quietly watched the Super Seminary students rushing to the training ground to assemble.

If Jace hadn't said he would be coming as an instructor, even Wei Zitong, as a transmigrator, would have mistaken the person in front of him for Jace's twin brother; he looked that unfamiliar!

Among the Super Seminary students, Du Qiangwei was the most surprised to see Jace. She had known Jace since childhood and was very familiar with the humorous and quirky Jace. Seeing Jace as a warrior, she found it hard to adapt immediately!

Seeing the three guys dawdling in the distance, Jace's expression darkened, and he shouted sternly, "From now on, anyone who isn't in formation within ten seconds will do a thousand standard push-ups on the spot!"

The three guys heard the roar from afar, and their scalps tingled. They rushed towards the formation as fast as they could!

"Holy crap, good thing we listened to Zitong and didn't sleep in!" Liu Chuang said, still shaken.

"No talking! One hundred standard push-ups on the spot!" Jace shouted coldly.

"Holy crap, who do you think you are? Just because you're wearing a big black armor, you think you're all that? Barking orders right off the bat!" Liu Chuang's temper flared, and he retorted directly.

"It's over!" Wei Zitong silently mourned for Liu Chuang in his heart.

Sure enough, half a minute later...

Liu Chuang, bruised and swollen, was doing standard push-ups on the ground. This time, it wasn't the hundred for "whispering," but a thousand for "talking back to his superior"...

"My name is Jace, and starting today, I am your military instructor!" Jace said, pacing before the Super Seminary students lined up, hands behind his back. "During military training, my word is law! Any questions?"

"Report!" Lena stepped forward first and asked, "Why are you the instructor, and I'm just the captain? I'm not convinced!"

"Very good!" Jace nodded, then he glanced at everyone and asked, "Anyone else unconvinced?"

The students exchanged glances, none daring to speak. Liu Chuang's example was fresh in their minds. The only one who could possibly resolve Liu Chuang so easily was Lena, right?

One minute later...

Lena lay on the ground, rolling her eyes. She had used every trick in the book, even unleashing a miniature solar flare bombardment, leaving the training ground in ruins. But she still couldn't do anything to Jace. The moment Jace summoned his hammer, Lena was on her knees...

Everyone couldn't help but gasp. Du Qiangwei, in particular, who had often bullied Jace, found the current Jace so cold and powerful that she dared not look him in the eye. Compared to the Jace who always yielded to her and protected her, this new Jace was a demon!

After dealing with Lena, Jace put away his somewhat exaggeratedly large hammer, stood at attention, and marched with impeccable military precision to Ge Xiaolun, who was at the front of the line. He said loudly, "Start reporting your names! What is your name?"

"Report! Don't you already know?" Ge Xiaolun replied cautiously.

"What is your name?" Jace continued to ask loudly.

"My name is Ge Xiaolun!" Ge Xiaolun replied loudly.

"Again!" Jace roared. "Add 'Sir' at the end!"

"My name is Ge Xiaolun, Sir!" Ge Xiaolun repeated loudly.

"Very good! Next!" Jace strode over to Wei Zitong.

"Can you stop messing around, Ajie!" Wei Zitong asked.

"Call me 'Sir'!" Jace still roared.

"My name is Wei Zitong, Sir!" Wei Zitong immediately became sensible. If the old Ajie could be considered a gentle and warm guy, then the current Jace was a complete straight man of steel. Judging by how he didn't show any mercy when beating Lena, Jace might have a split personality!
