Roar!
A tiger's roar that seemed to shatter the air carried far across the sky a hundred meters above. The snow-white tiger head opened its jaws and swallowed the massive meteor whole, its momentum unchanged as it shot straight toward the heavens.
Crack, crack, crack, crack, crack!
Creak, creak, creak, creak, creak!
Hiss, hiss, hiss, hiss, hiss!
In an instant, a series of cracking, crushing, and burning sounds traveled upward through the hundred-meter-high sky along the tiger's rushing path.
Boom!
Then came a deafening explosion that shook the heavens. The tiger head burst apart together with the violently burning fireball hundreds of meters in the air. Flames erupted like an enormous firework exploding in midair. Blazing white fire scattered in every direction, illuminating heaven and earth as countless showers of flame cascaded down like pear blossoms, gradually fading away in midair and burning into dust before they could reach the ground.
The colossal meteor that had descended as though to destroy the world had, at this moment, been reduced to ashes amid the flames overhead, as if it had never existed at all.
Rustle!
At that moment, amid the scraping of branches and leaves, the vast swathes of trees that had been bent flat slowly sprang upright. As they swayed and rustled, faint cries of alarm from those unable to keep their footing could be heard.
However, after the trees had finished swaying and settled into place, those cries abruptly ceased as well.
Silence descended upon the area once more.

At that moment, Black-robed Chiba stood atop the black city wall, his blue Chakra cloak burning like flames. He slowly withdrew his half-extended right fist and let out a long breath.
