Su Li was abandoned by her parents at birth and taken in by her master, who found her crying shortly after his own child was born. When Su Li later reached the Nascent Soul realm, the Moon Eclipse Curse in her Ancient Witch bloodline fully awakened, spreading through moonlight and infecting life across a thousand-li radius. 224

Unable to prevent the curse from harming others, Su Li voluntarily exiled herself to remote Secluded Doom Island. She spent roughly a century there, isolated from the outside world and keeping company with weathered statues that she repeatedly watched and repaired. 223 224

The Azure Sea Immortal Sect monitors Secluded Doom Island but suppresses news of intruders and treats Su Li’s continued isolation as its priority. 223 234

Appearance

Su Li is a white-clad woman who often goes barefoot, with snow-white hair, dark star-like eyes, a vermilion mark between her brows, and a red-thread bell around her ankle. Her presence is accompanied by an immense Nascent Soul pressure and the chime of her bell. 223

Su Li is initially cold, cautious, and deeply distrustful of outsiders. A century of isolation and others’ fear of her curse left her lonely, yet she does not become cruel; she voluntarily confines herself rather than endanger others. 223 224

She is compassionate and self-sacrificing. To limit the Moon Eclipse Curse’s range and protect nearby sea life, she repeatedly cuts herself to feed Snow Leaf Grass with her Witch Blood, enduring pain because it is one of the few ways she can restrain the disaster. 225

Over time, Su Li becomes more open, playful, and emotionally reliant on Xiao Chen’s company. She enjoys cooking, hearing about the outside world, watching fireworks, and sharing meals with him on the island. 234 282 287

Secluded Doom Island Encounter

Xiao Chen reaches Secluded Doom Island and finds Su Li guarding Moon-Dyed Jade Marrow Mushrooms. Rather than attack him, she offers him the mushrooms in exchange for cutting Spirit-Sealing Sinking Cloud Wood and carving replacement statues. 223

Though Su Li initially assumes Xiao Chen will die from her curse, his continued health confuses her. She ultimately orders him to leave before the lunar eclipse, not to break their agreement, but to protect him. 224

Moon Eclipse Revelation

When the Moon Eclipse erupts, Xiao Chen remains unharmed by Mandala Flowers and Curse Power. Su Li realizes he can survive what has killed or transformed everyone else near her. 225

Xiao Chen helps suppress the Moon Eclipse through physical contact, allowing Su Li to experience a less destructive ritual and regain access to fragments of Moon Witch inherited memories. Together, they learn that the curse was originally part of a Moon Offering Ritual and that a Witch Artifact from the Wu Mausoleum could control it. 226

Recovery of the Witch Artifact

Xiao Chen retrieves the Crystal Moon Wheel from the Wu Mausoleum and returns it to Su Li. She identifies it as the World Illusion Moon Wheel, the lost Dominator Witch Artifact of her tribe. 231 233

With the artifact, Su Li and Xiao Chen begin preparing more complete Moon Offering Rituals. The ritual produces stronger Blood Crystals, reveals further tribal history, and gives Su Li renewed hope that the curse can be controlled. 233 234

Companionship on the Island

Su Li becomes increasingly engaged with life on Secluded Doom Island. She gathers flowers, dives for food, cooks sea fish with Xiao Chen, follows outside news through the stories he brings home, and celebrates festivals with him. 234 282 287

When Xiao Chen prepares to attempt Nascent Soul formation, he asks Su Li to serve as his Dao Protector. Though she initially worries Secluded Doom Island lacks sufficient spiritual energy, she agrees to guard him after he proves he has the necessary resources. 286

Return of the Curse

While Xiao Chen is away for over a year, Su Li attempts to cultivate a newly received Moon Witch method in hopes of advancing beyond Nascent Soul Great Perfection. The stored Moonlight Power instead becomes further contaminated, amplifying the Moon Eclipse Curse and covering the island in withered plants and strange Witch Mark manifestations. 401

Ashamed of her changed appearance, Su Li hides in her stone house until Xiao Chen insists on seeing her.
