After conducting research, the biologists discovered that foggy weather was one of the insects' favorite conditions. Since the apocalypse had descended upon Earth, something seemed to have appeared within the fog. Unfortunately, they lacked the precision instruments needed to investigate it.

After a period of analysis, several biologists concluded that insects liked foggy weather because the mysterious gas in the mist could stimulate their reproductive organs, keeping them in a state of constant excitement.

Mating and breeding naturally followed.

The many inheritors in the military were fine after hearing the biologists' well-reasoned explanation, but the officers who were still ordinary people felt their scalps go numb.

No one doubted the insects' ability to reproduce.

Once these insect swarms, enlarged hundreds, thousands, or even tens of thousands of times and endowed with extraordinary power, reproduced for several generations, would there still be room for humanity to survive on Earth?
