Gu Ye treated Zhu Zhuqing and other members of Shrek Academy, using Martial Soul Blood to transform Zhu Zhuqing’s Netherworld Spirit Cat and draw the attention of the academy and the Great Spirit Arena. The arc left Zhu Zhuqing preparing to test her new black flame in a Soul Battle after Gu Ye taught her combat techniques.

• Gu Ye diagnosed Tang San with hemorrhoids and kidney deficiency, then offered Ning Rongrong medicine and treated Zhu Zhuqing’s injuries in exchange for a drop of Martial Soul Blood.
• Gu Ye gave Zhu Zhuqing medicine and self-defense tools, which she used at Shrek Academy to help subdue Zhao Wuji during the entrance test.
• Gu Ye treated Zhao Wuji and collected blood from his Mighty Vajra Bear Martial Soul, while Zhu Zhuqing and Ning Rongrong returned to the clinic for help.
• Gu Ye injected Zhu Zhuqing with a serum made from her Martial Soul Blood, transforming her Netherworld Spirit Cat and raising her Soul Power to level thirty.

Gu Ye treated Ma Hongjun, strengthened Zhu Zhuqing, and drew her into his tutelage as she pursued a powerful third Soul Ring. The arc left Zhu Zhuqing with a rare External Soul Bone and Gu Ye’s guidance, while Shrek’s teachers discussed the risks and promise of his methods.

• Gu Ye calmed Ma Hongjun’s evil fire with a sedative and collected Martial Soul Blood in exchange for medicine, then treated fighters at the Great Spirit Arena and became entangled with Zhu Zhuqing and Kadan.
• Gu Ye strengthened Zhu Zhuqing with his medicinal treatments, advised her on her Martial Soul and third Soul Ring, and agreed to take her as his disciple if she met his expectations.
• Gu Ye and Kadan planned to make her queen of the Balak Kingdom, while Xue Hong secured Xue Qinghe’s support and Xue Qinghe took an interest in Gu Ye’s healing abilities.
• Zhu Zhuqing used her increased speed and strength against a Man Faced Demon Spider, but the Titan Giant Ape seized Xiao Wu during the ensuing encounter.

• Zhu Zhuqing killed and absorbed a Black Flame Fox’s overage Soul Ring, then returned to Gu Ye and described her new Soul Skill.
• Gu Ye recognized Zhu Zhuqing’s black-and-red claws as a rare growth-capable External Soul Bone, warned her to keep it secret, and accepted her as his disciple.
• Flender told Yu Xiaogang that Gu Ye’s Martial Soul Blood had helped Zhu Zhuqing reach rank thirty and might help cure Ma Hongjun, while Yu Xiaogang warned about possible harm to her foundation.

Gu Ye treated Yu Xiaogang and Ma Hongjun, then gave Kadan the Golden Saint Dragon Martial Soul and began training Zhu Zhuqing for the arena. The stretch ends with Zhu Zhuqing and Ning Rongrong heading to Shrek’s team battle while Gu Ye remains elsewhere.

• Flender and Yu Xiaogang learned that Zhu Zhuqing had absorbed a Black Flame Fox soul ring over two thousand years old, contradicting Yu Xiaogang’s 1,760-year limit theory.
• Zhu Zhuqing returned to Shrek Academy and declared that Gu Ye was her master, while Yu Xiaogang began training the students and she continued to question his authority.
• Gu Ye treated Ning Rongrong and trained Zhu Zhuqing in close-combat techniques, then agreed to treat Ma Hongjun and Yu Xiaogang in exchange for favors and tasks.

Gu Ye traveled with Kadan to the Star Dou Great Forest, where he helped her obtain a soul ring and gained his own fifth ring before returning to Suotuo City. He saved the Shrek students from an ambush, continued training Zhu Zhuqing, and the Heaven Dou Royal Academy Team arrived in the city seeking his clinic.

• Gu Ye broke through to level fifty, then set out with Kadan and Yan Xi for the Star Dou Great Forest to obtain his fifth soul ring.
• Gu Ye’s group met Qian Renxue in the forest, and after the Titan Giant Ape injured her, Gu Ye treated her and let her travel with them.
• Kadan absorbed a ten-thousand-year Spirit Charm Fox’s soul ring and received its soul bone, while Gu Ye killed guards who tried to seize it.
• Gu Ye and Yan Xi killed a twenty-thousand-year Poison Dragon Heart-Drilling Beast, and Gu Ye absorbed its soul ring to reach level fifty-two and gain Poison Dragon Heart-Drilling Blade.
• Back in Suotuo City, Gu Ye reunited with Zhu Zhuqing, who stayed at his Medical Hall and trained until she reached level thirty-four.
• Bule, Tianya, and Old Goose ambushed the Shrek students, but Gu Ye killed Tianya and Old Goose and treated the students affected by the attack.
• Qin Ming brought the Heaven Dou Royal Academy Team to Suotuo City, where they heard about Gu Ye’s clinic and decided to visit it.
