Harry realized Tony had misunderstood. He shook his head.
"No, Mr. Stark, you misunderstand. Kamar-Taj has never feared exposure.
"We hide ourselves only to avoid trouble and prevent certain people from abusing magic.
"This is merely a minor problem. The Supreme Mage alone could handle it. At any time, we could erase everything about Kamar-Taj from the memories of everyone around the world, but we would not do so lightly.
"After all, our enemies have never been humanity, but Abyssal Demons, Old Ones, and those Dimensional Lords."
"So Dimensional Demon Gods really exist?"
"Of course. For example, Dormammu is the lord of the Dark Dimension and has always wanted to devour Earth. Without the Supreme Mage's protection, the armed forces currently on Earth would have no way to resist Dormammu's invasion."
Tony felt an intense sense of urgency. Because of what he had experienced lately, he had originally planned to hold a press conference as soon as he returned to New York and shut down Stark Industries' weapons development department.
At the same time, he wanted to develop new Iron Man Armor to fight criminals around the world.
But Harry's words completely disrupted his plans. Compared to Dimensional Demon Gods, criminals were not worth mentioning.
He shifted his target from criminals to Dimensional Demon Gods, but they were far too powerful. Was he really capable of facing one?
A jolt flashed through Tony's mind, and he realized he had fallen into a misconception. He was a genius!
He was a genius in technology, so why could he not be a genius in magic as well?
Why not combine technology and magic?
If he could not beat them, why not join them?
Tony grew excited and asked, "Harry, can I learn magic?"
Harry thought for a moment before answering, "Maybe. I'll ask the Supreme Mage. Even if you can't join Kamar-Taj, I can still give you a few Spellbooks to satisfy your curiosity."
"Yeah!" Tony pumped his fist. As long as he had Spellbooks, he was confident he could figure out magic. This was nothing Tony Stark could not handle.
Tony had already begun considering plans for Magic Armor.
The next morning, the plane passed through the clouds and slowly descended.
Tony said to Harry, "Harry, once I hold a press conference, I'll arrange a party tonight to celebrate Mage Harry rescuing Mr. Stark.
"Looks like I'll have to bring out that bottle of Romanée-Conti from my wine cellar. Oh, right, maybe I should invite a few dozen hot girls too!"
Harry declined without hesitation. Compared to a party, he had more important things to do.
Although he had used Colonel Rhodes's phone to let Aunt May know he was safe yesterday, Harry could tell how worried they had been.
The moment the plane landed, he would head home, back to 20 Ingram Street in Queens.
With Tony's intelligence, he was certainly not someone who did not understand social etiquette. It was just that few people had ever given him a reason to care.
Without a doubt, Harry, who had saved his life, was one of them.
Tony did not insist. "All right. I'll arrange a car to give you a ride. Even if you can fly, you're not going to fly in public, are you?"
"Thank you."
"Then you have to attend tonight's party. I've prepared a huge surprise for you!"
This time, Harry did not refuse. To be honest, he was a little curious about the party too.
The plane landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport. The cargo hatch at the rear slowly opened, forming a staircase to the ground.
Harry and the others walked down the stairs. Several medics pushed over a yellow ambulance, intending to carry Tony inside.
Tony immediately waved them off. "Are you kidding? What do I need that thing for? I'm perfectly healthy. Move it."
The medics were at a loss. Colonel Rhodes helplessly waved a hand, telling them to leave.
A tall, sexy, charming blonde beauty stood ahead. Dressed in business attire, she looked capable and sharp, but at that moment, she was as gentle as water.
Her eyes were red as she stared blankly at Tony, unable to see anyone else.
Harry had seen her on television. This beautiful woman with a scattering of freckles was Pepper Potts, Tony's most trusted personal secretary. After Tony went missing, she had even temporarily taken over as Stark Industries' CEO.
When Tony reached Pepper, she seemed to have countless things she wanted to say, but in the end, she only showed a smile that looked halfway between laughter and tears.
Tony wiped the tears from the corners of Pepper's eyes. Even the proud Mr. Stark became gentle. "Your eyes are all red. Were you worried about your missing boss?"
Pepper wrapped Tony in a tight embrace. "I'm happy. At least I don't have to look for another job."
Tony introduced Harry and Yinsen to Pepper, emphasizing that Harry had saved him.
Pepper was deeply grateful to Harry. She shook hands with the boy and wanted to chat with him for a while, but Tony quickly pulled them apart.
His experiences over the past three months had made Tony cherish those around him even more. Possessive as he was, he did not like his woman spending too much time with other men.
Not even his own lifesaver!
Tony said, "Let's go. I need to hold a press conference immediately. Oh, and don't forget to have a car take Harry home. The kid's been away for so long, he misses his mom."
Watching Tony leave, Harry's face darkened. Tony's words were still as unpleasant as ever. It was a miracle he had lived this long without being beaten to death.
Harry decided that when Tony learned magic, he would definitely take good care of him. After all, how could someone learn magic without exchanging ideas?
The Rolls-Royce slowly came to a stop, drawing the residents' curiosity.
The residents of Ingram Street earned an average income by New York standards. They could not afford a luxury car like a Rolls-Royce.
Who was in the car? What was a rich person doing here?
Soon, the driver escorted someone out of the back seat, and the residents all recognized him. It was Harry!
Harry had always been outstanding since childhood. Whether in academics, appearance, or sports, he was the kind of child every parent compared their own children to.
But all that was still within the realm of ordinary people. Since when had Harry become so rich?
After bidding the driver farewell, Harry lightly knocked on the door. A figure opened it—it was Peter. Behind him was Aunt May, who had hurried over after hearing the commotion.
Seeing Harry, Peter let out a sigh of relief. "You're finally back. Aunt May was really worried about you."
"Sorry for making you worry." Harry walked into the living room and embraced Aunt May.
Uncle Ben poked his head out from the kitchen and said to Harry:
"You came at just the right time. Dinner will be ready soon. Come tell us what you did yesterday."
Harry told his family about what had happened yesterday, though he simplified it and did not mention the dangerous parts. He only said that he had been accidentally teleported into the desert, where he met Tony Stark and was rescued.
Even so, Aunt May and the others were still shocked. Peter especially shot to his feet and cried out:
"Oh my God, you actually know Mr. Stark! Harry, you have to introduce me to Mr. Stark. I've wanted Mr. Stark's autograph for ages!"
