Flying on the Flying Broomstick he had made, his speed had now reached twice what it had been at the beginning!
The fastest Flying Broomsticks in the Wizarding World could reach around 280 kilometers per hour, while his Flying Broomstick could reach 500 kilometers per hour.
As Harry drew upon more Magic Power, the Flying Broomstick's speed would increase accordingly.
Making the Flying Broomstick had gone smoothly, but he had hit a snag with wandmaking. The wands he made could only increase his spell power by ten percent and could not calm the Magic Power within his body.
Harry tried more than a dozen times, all with the same result. The strongest wand had been made with a World Tree branch as its body and an Ice Phoenix feather as its core.
It could enhance Harry's spell power by thirty percent, but it could not calm his turbulent Magic Power. It was utterly useless.
The greatest help a wand could offer Harry was calming his turbulent Magic Power. If it could not do that, then no matter how many times it amplified his spell power, it would still be a failed product to Harry.
Just as Harry was at his wits' end, a thought suddenly struck him—did his hair count as Chaos Magic material?
He was a powerful Chaos Mage with endless Chaos Magic within him. Could his hair possess chaotic properties as well, enough to serve as the finest magical material?
It was worth a try!
Harry plucked out a lock of hair and tried using it in place of an Ice Phoenix feather as the wand core.
The new wand was quickly completed. Harry gripped it tightly and gave it a swing.
"Protego Totalum (Full Body-Shield)!"
Oh my God, it really worked!
The instant he gripped the wand, the Magic Power within Harry's body became much steadier.
A beam of white light landed on the target, forming a transparent barrier around it.
The transparent barrier was thin, but it possessed formidable defensive power.
More importantly, the barrier was stable. It did not suddenly expand and crush the target.
Harry had succeeded. His hair truly was the finest Chaos Magic material!
However, the new wand's main function was stabilizing his Magic Power, and it only increased his spell power by ten percent. Harry was not satisfied with that, so he continued making new wands.
Rather than pulling out another lock of hair as he had at first, Harry cut his hair shorter. Even the scattered clippings could achieve the same effect.
The wands he made afterward did not go smoothly. None suited him—either they provided too little amplification, or they could not calm his Magic Power.
Harry was not surprised. After making so many wands in the Wizarding World, none had been as useful as the one Ollivander had sold him.
The wands he made himself could at most increase his spell power by eighty percent.
Harry was not greedy. His goal was to create a wand that could both calm his Magic Power and increase his spell power by fifty percent.
His hair could only serve as the core. To make a better wand, he needed to find material for the wand body that contained chaotic properties.
Harry continued making wands. When he picked up another wand and gave it a swing, his eyes lit up.
This wand perfectly met his requirements. Not only could it calm his Magic Power, but it could also increase his spell power by sixty percent—ten percent above his minimum standard.
Harry examined the wand in his hand. Its body was made from a World Tree branch, with faint golden Runic Script engraved upon it.
Its core was not entirely made of his hair either. It also contained goblin hair, the two intertwined to form a new wand core.
The wand was far longer than those in the Wizarding World—fifty-one inches long, or 129 centimeters, and as thick as a thumb. At its tip was set a Fire Dragon's reverse scale, gleaming like a brilliant ruby.
Since the wand materials were not good enough, Harry could only make up for it with quantity. The facts proved that he had been right.
Just as Harry was about to test magic with his new wand, his phone rang. It was a call from Peter.
"What is it, Peter?"
"Harry, it's already past seven! Where are you? Don't forget Mr. Stark's party!" Peter sounded anxious.
Harry checked the time. It was 7:12 indeed, a little late, but the party started at nine. Peter was being far too anxious.
But it was understandable. He had idolized Mr. Stark since childhood, and this was his first chance to meet him up close.
Harry smiled helplessly. "Relax, we won't be late."
Leaving the training room, he went deep into the library, where Wong was still reading late into the night beneath a lamp.
Harry patted him on the shoulder. "Wong, I'm leaving. Thank you for your help."
"How's your progress? Did it go smoothly?" Wong asked curiously.
Harry took the wand out of his Pocket Dimension. The Runic Script on the wooden wand shimmered with golden light. "Very well. I'll be able to use portals from now on!"
Wong smiled. "Congratulations."
"Thank you. Then goodbye." Harry opened a portal, and on the other side was his room.
Harry and Peter's rooms were both on the second floor. As he walked downstairs, Harry saw Peter pacing back and forth in the living room.
Peter was wearing a fitted formal suit that Harry had never seen before. He had probably bought it recently.
It seemed Peter had spent a fortune. The suit was not cheap; perhaps he had even dipped into his car-buying money.
When Peter saw Harry coming down from the second floor, he froze briefly.
"Why were you on the second floor? Is it some new magic? Forget it, that's not important. Mr. Stark has already sent a car to wait outside. Let's go.
Wait, what's with those clothes? This is Mr. Stark's party. How can you wear mage robes there?"
Harry rolled his eyes. "Now you're being picky. This wizard robe has numerous spells embedded in it, including a Cleaning Charm. One of these is worth ten thousand of the suits you're wearing. Forget it, I'll change too."
A wizard robe really wasn't appropriate attire for a party. Harry drew his wand and cast a Transfiguration Spell on it.
The wizard robe rapidly transformed, eventually becoming a sharp, elegant suit, while the many embedded spells on it were preserved.
"Cool. What kind of magic is that? How come I've never seen you use it before?" Peter asked curiously.
"Transfiguration. I only learned it recently. Let's go—we can't keep Happy waiting too long."
Through the window, Harry saw a black Rolls-Royce parked outside. The driver in the front seat was Stark's personal bodyguard, Happy Hogan.
The fact that Tony had sent his personal bodyguard to pick Harry up showed just how highly he regarded him.
Harry recalled Stark saying that he had a huge surprise for him. He wondered what it could be.
The party was being held at one of Tony's luxurious villas in New York.
As the Rolls-Royce came to a stop, many people looked over curiously.
They recognized the car. It was Tony Stark's exclusive ride, and he almost never let anyone else sit in it unless they were close friends.
But Colonel Rhodes, Miss Pepper, and Mr. Stark were all inside the villa, so who could be in that car?
Just as they were pondering it, the rear door opened, and two young men stepped out!
Unfamiliar faces—who were they?
And what was their relationship with Tony Stark?
